Review: I love it - I carried a Fenix LD09 for a long time and really liked it. But when I lost it, I started carrying a Fenix E11 that I had. It was good, but I realized that I like having multiple brightness options for the sake of battery life and low light conditions when I don't need to be blinded. Well, I recently lost the E11, so I started shopping and came across this one. My previous lights rubbed hole through my back pocket, so I wanted something smaller since I'm a small guy. So I was comparing the Fenix LD02, the O-Light iT3, and the Streamlight Microstream USB. The Fenix was smaller, but it's the dimmest, only has one brightness setting, and most importantly, isn't sold on desertcart Prime. So I gave the O-Light a try since it was the next smallest. I love it. It's exactly what I needed. It's tiny, has a great battery life (for a AAA), and is plenty bright. It may not be what you need. If you have older eyes, you may not like it since the dim setting is really dim. But since I use the dim setting when I don't want to wake up my wife or kids in the tent, it's just right. The dim setting is just enough to see the path and tell if you're going to step on a snake (I can personally confirm). It's like one of those old keychain LEDs when they first came out - not bright enough to do much, but gives just enough light when you don't need much. It's perfect for an EDC light. The bright setting, however, is plenty bright for a tactical light that fits in your pocket. It will easily light up my living room. It's theoretically a little brighter than my previous EDCs, but it doesn't shine quite as far. So far, that hasn't been an issue...after all, it's a AAA flashlight that fits in your pocket, not a spotlight; there's only so much you can ask. The battery life hasn't been an issue for me. I use my flashlight multiple times a day. I don't use it all day; I'm not working in attics for a living, but for normal stuff, it's great. I just went camping for 2 nights, and it did everything I needed. However, I highly recommend using rechargeable batteries so you can always have a hot battery. And for $20, being one of the cheapest EDC options, I am so impressed. I would totally give this to my kids for camp-outs if they were old enough. The clip is a huge improvement over the Fenix. It is very secure, but not too hard to clip. The hat clip is awesome. I had aspired to buying a headlamp for a long time, but now all I have to do is put on a ball cap and clip on the light. It works perfectly. The button is good. It does turn on to dim first, then you have to press again for bright. That's good for an EDC but less good for a tactical light. I'm torn. You might not like that, and I totally understand. Overall, I'm very impressed and have already recommended it to others. If you're looking for a AAA light, this one will not disappoint. If you care about size, get this one. If you don't care about size, there are probably options you'll like more.
Review: 2 years of perfect service! - Outstanding small flashlight! A dependable light is a must in EMS/FIRE and after almost 2 years of use this is my favorite. This light is small enough that I ALWAYS have it but it performs like a full size light (I have identified many address numbers at night). The dim setting is perfect for looking around the cab of the engine without blinding my engineer. The visor clip feature works very well ( I have used others that were too heavy and pulled the hat over my eyes). It will get hot if used on bright for a longer period of time. I have never had it run out of battery on an incident, but I do change batteries frequently. Overall it has great life for a single AAA light. It has even replaced my D Cell maglite for my "bump in the night" investigations at home. A small light in your pocket sure beats a the big light you left in the truck!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent, simple to operate compact flashlight
*by T***B on October 8, 2026*

This flashlight is light weight and well built. It has very simple user interface with two light modes, low and high, with a simple one two click to change brightness. The low setting allows you to see a map or book in the dark without blinding you. I am very impressed with the light throw in high mode, especially considering that it is powered by a single AAA battery. Battery life seems good, although I have only used lithium AAA batteries in it so far. I refuse to use alkaline batteries in flashlights any more, unless in an emergency, as I have had too many leak and ruin good flashlights. The tail switch is smooth functioning and gives a positive click. However, the tail switch is not protected and the light can turn on if dropped, but it is easier to click than the tail switch on the streamlight microstream. It is approximately the same size as the streamlight 66318 micostream. Both are small, lightweight and simple to operate.
