Big & Tall Men's Short Sleeve Swim Shirt - Loose Fit

At the time of my order I was 6' 7" and 380lbs. As I write this, I'm creeping back down to the 300 mark, which is relevant for two reasons. First - you get some idea of how a 5XLT fits on the before version of me, and second - to make a point that I was so happy with the product that I plan on buying too more when I reach my target weight.Having said that, let's be honest. Big T-shirts fail big guys in two ways. First - they're never long enough. Second - they aren't big enough.The 5XLT was larger and longer than any similar shirt I've owned. I didn't feel the least bit uncomfortable with how I looked. The dry fit fabric is also kind of thick, which is nice because when dry-fit is thinner it has a habit of accentuating the unflattering bits of larger guys. This shirt kicks butt.Like I said before, I plan on ordering a couple more when I hit my target weight.

I am a large guy, well on the over weight side (400+). Being larger in the waist and chest area, I have always found water shirts to cling way to much to my stomach. This is not only uncomfortable, but also looks bad. No heavy guy wants a shirt clinging to his gut.With this shirt, I did not have that problem. I wore it multiple days on a recent cruise and it was fantastic. It was not a snug shirt and hung nicely when dry. When it was wet, it did not droop down around the neck or feel heavy. And it dried quickly when I got out of the water.My only complaint would be the arm length. I needed the larger size to fit my waist, but that does not mean I have long arms. So the sleeves were a little on the long side. Not enough to make it uncomfortable, I just wish they were shorter.

I have purchased and returned several swim shirts. Either they are too short, too tight, the material was too heavy, or just didn’t feel right. My main issue though was the collar. All the other ones I have tried have very big collars and for me when I wear a shirt with a big floppy or loose collar I feel like it looks very sloppy. Out of the 8-10 swim shirts I have tried this one is by far the best. Material feels perfect, The length was perfect, and most important the collar was nice and snug around my neck. The sizes run a little bit bigger then normal. So I would probably go a size down from what your normal shirt size is. I read the reviews from many other customers and they seem to have that same issue. So when I purchased this item I decided to order 1 size down from my normal shirt size and it fit perfect. If you buy this item and get the correct size I promise you, you will be more then happy with it.

First, the shirt is well made and the material seems to be of high quality. But, even with the warning about the sizing running to the larger side, it didn't prepare me for how big the shirt is. I routinely wear 3X T shirts and so I took the advice of ordering a 2X. Still the shirt is so big it hangs off me. I would say the 2X is the equivalent of a 4X in most other manufacturers. I would be better to just re-list the sizing closer to what customers are used to.

I bought a couple of these shirts for my husband to wear to the beach. He is 6'3" and about 280 lbs. He didn't want anything that would be too tight or hug his stomach. He normally wears 3XLT. But based on other reviews saying this shirt was big, I ordered a regular length King 3XL. Great fit, loose enough without being baggy, and has slimming effect on him. The length was perfect and what he normally gets with tall shirts in other brands. I think the tall version would have been too long on him, so I'm glad I sized how I did. If you can get the right size, this is a very nice shirt for sun protection.

My hub got this shirt after noticing other men wearing similar shirts. He really likes it for public pools, and wore it yesterday at a water park with the family. He feels much for comfortable and less self conscious, as it doesn’t really stick to his skin for long when it’s soaking wet. Dries pretty quickly.

So it’s not designed for a woman- no hips- but women’s swim shirts don’t come in tall. We slit it up the sides for a kimono look and it doesn’t unravel- perfect for snorkel safety! Very comfortable. Blue didn’t get as hot as the black did.

It’s a good water shirt for those who don’t like to go in the water without a shirt on. When you get out, it’s slightly stuck to your skin but it drains off pretty quickly. My only complaint is that the neck is pretty tight and is made of a material that’s not going to stretch over time.
