Good Start
I bought the kit for summer travel. It had enough in it to make me feel like it was better than nothing.The knife is sharp though very hard to open and close. And the flashlight is bright but you need your own batteries. These two items plus the whistle and pouch were headliners. I upgraded with my own bandages, and some other personal items.

Very happy with the items included in this package. Lots of choices and very good quality. This is a perfect gift for anyone and especially a Scout or someone who is outdoors a great deal and camps. Excellent number of useful items. Might only suggest a diagram with what is included and how to use for novices.

Excellent survival gear but you might wanna get an actual first aid kit
Very nice and compact, I was expecting almost a full size backpack but actually it's only about the size of your hand. Only thing is I wish it had more first aid gear, it's only band-aids and alcohol wipes...some bandages, anti-itch spray, pain relief cream,scissors, sterile gloves, etc. would be nice but

Missing the knife
I would’ve gave this kit 5 stars but it didn’t come with the camping knife as stated in the description. This was why I choose this bag in particular.

A well organized kit
I've always found it useful to carry some survival tools when hiking or backpacking. I bought this kit because I needed a replacement for my old pocket knife. I'm happy that I did, now all my things are neatly organized in a great package. I don't have to search all over my backpack anymore to find what I need! And it also stays well on the belt when I don't want to carry a backpack around. As for the product itself, everything came in good condition and as advertised.
