It has been too many decades to count since I purchased this gum but I had to do it after someone mentioned it in a casual conversation. The gum is exactly like I remember: hard to get going, sweet, and short-lived. You can chew three pieces in ten minutes and be done and satisfied with your sweet tooth. My only concern was the price. Sometimes, its worth it. The bucket is fun for parties and additions to gift bags, especially for old folk who grew up on it.

The value is tops. I like the texture, smell and durability of flavor. There is no staleness with this gum. I've been chewing this since childhood.

Without their being an expiration date on the packaging, I can't say definitively that it's outdated, or beyond its expiration date. What I will say is that the bubble gum is hard, and not sweet at all!
