No sewing and perfect but if just using the netting not a problem as you get a lot of netting so to climb under is fine. Took about 20 minutes to put together but no instruction manual so make sure you have the product picture infront of you then very easy. **Q: Our cherry tree, 6ft 15ins. This one seems quite sturdy and a good solution. Recommended....so far. Quite expensive for a simple solution.
