"sugar-free" on a product generally means it contains some kind of artificial sweetener (usually toxic, imo). this is the only actual candy i've ever seen, that has neither. they're not the tastiest hard candies i've ever rolled around in my mouth, but they're definitely good-tasting enough to keep buying again, in the future.
