I would say somewhat accurate/realistic. If it's yes or no I would say no.

What is the scale of the animals? I'm looking for o gauge compatible

See approximate lengths to help assess. the animals are not to the same scale. Holding them up to some different size car models, the moose seems around 1/36 scale, the others increasing from there -- the manufacturers seem to have attempted to keep the animals to around the same size rather than the same scale.

How big are these figures?

The tallest is about 6 inches high. The longest maybe 5-6 inches. My grandbaby loves them, she can take them on trips. :)

How to these compare to schleich?

Not as good as Schleich, but still good quality for the price. The paint colors on some of these figures is slightly off, and the leg length is sometimes slightly off, too, so the animals are somewhat wobbly. The croc is great.
