If you like to cook big batches of soups, meats, casseroles etc. to have left-overs to serve in the next week so you don't have to cook as often, these BPA free FreezerWare containers are ideal. They are a good size and have some helpful features according to the company including: * crack resistant in freezer temperatures and can withstand extreme temperatures * ideal freezer storage for meat, fruit, veggies, sauces or soups * can use in microwave and put in dishwasher * tight-fitting lids lock in freshness and prevent messy leaks * BPA free plastic safe for microwave, dishwasher and freezer * great for marinating meats in the frig These are a medium large size - large enough to hold at least a dinner for two and perhaps more. For empty nesters, they are great if you are used to cooking for a family and now cook for two. You have enough left over to freeze for a meal later in the week or month.
