(Electrocatalytic Oxidation) for up to 15000 Gallon Above Ground Pools, 110-120 V with GFCI : desertcart.in: Garden & Outdoors Review: Great upgrade from traditional chlorine - I installed this saltwater system on my above-ground pool, and it has been a great addition. Setup was straightforward, and the instructions were easy to follow. Once I added the correct amount of salt and let the system run, it started producing chlorine without any issues. I really like the built-in timer because I can set it and not have to think about it every day. The self-cleaning feature is another nice touch since it helps reduce maintenance and keeps the system running efficiently. Since switching to saltwater, the pool water feels softer, and I’ve spent much less time manually adding chlorine. Overall, this system has made pool maintenance much easier. If you’re looking for an affordable way to convert an above-ground pool to saltwater, this is a solid option that performs exactly as expected. Il faut juste être un peu bricoleur pour adapter les tuyaux parce qu'ils ne sont pas compatibles d'origine avec les connecteurs de 2 pouces, ça vaut la peine compte tenu du prix très compétitifs ## Features - Provides the luxury of saying goodbye to red eyes, damaged hair as well as swimwear and pool liners, making your pool experience truly refreshing and stress-free - Uses the ECO process to keep your pool clean and comfortable while housed in a sleek, compact housing that enhances the aesthetics of your pool - With three self-cleaning modes with 6, 10 and 14 hour cycles, the chlorine system features a 24-hour timer that provides extensive flexibility for individual pool care - Get the most out of it, use a suitable filter pump with a flow rate of 700 to 3,000 gallons per hour; please keep in mind that the filter pump is sold separately - The redesigned control panel features a display, accessible buttons, and a new power button for added convenience; setup and instructions are seamless, sodium hypochlorite output power: 45 litres per hour ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B073S4XG46 | | Brand | Intex | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 4,337 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00078257266692 | | Included Components | Intex - 26669EG | | Item Weight | 7.76 kg | | Manufacturer | Intex | | Manufacturer Part Number | 26669EG | | Model Number | 26669EG | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Benefits | Kills Bacteria | | UPC | 078257266692 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Intex - **Item Weight:** 7.76 kg - **Product Benefits:** Kills Bacteria - **UPC:** 078257266692 - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00078257266692 ## Images ![Intex Krystal Clear Saltwater System with E.C.O. Price gauging at its finest!!** A: As of 6/15/22 the price from Intex website is $319 **Q: How will I know how long to runthe each day? Trial and error?** A: There is a chart in the instructions that gives you a basic idea, but yes just keep checking your chlorine level. If it starts getting too high cut back it’s run time if it gets too low run it longer each day. **Q: Will this work on an intex 15x48? Will i need to buy attachments? This is a pump right?** A: 1 Yes, a 15' x 48" pool is below the Intex claim of "for Above Ground Pools up to 7,000 Gal (26,500L)" 2 Maybe. Depending our your situation it is possible that you will need to buy 'attachments' 3 No, this is a saltwater system. It is not a filter NOR pump. Intex's Filter/Pump, for sale on Amazon as B005QIYL7E will work with your pool and this unit. **Q: Are hoses included?** A: Yes, all hoses and all adapters are included to connect to the pool and pump. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great upgrade from traditional chlorine *by D***Y on 4 July 2026* I installed this saltwater system on my above-ground pool, and it has been a great addition. Intex sent me a new one but I bought this one because I couldn't wait two weeks for it to arrive. When this one dies I have a backup while i'm waiting for a replacement. I bought this well aware I will be getting 1-2 seasons max out of this. I have an 18' round steel above ground pool and this works great. I keep it on three hours a day and have no issues getting sufficient chlorine in my pool. It's been running for about 45 days so far and no issues. It has a three year warranty and their customer service is good overall. Replacements take a couple weeks to arrive so keep it in mind when your unit craps out. Even thought the life span is so short I still think it's worth not having to deal with chlorine in my pool. No smelly skin, no chemical balancing issues, no green pool. Saltwater is the BEST. If you are like me and installing this on a regular non intex pool they make this adapter https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012BUM5V8/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This way you dont need to make something from PVC. One end screws onto the salt system and your pool hoses slide over the other end and get clamped down. No leaks at all. I'm going to update this review at the end of this season or if the unit dies before then. **October 2018 Update** I just closed my pool down yesterday. As I was closing it down I thought I would record a video with my opinions. Feel free to watch it or just read below. The generator functioned as intended the entire season. It kept my 18" above ground non Intex pool crystal clear all year. The only thing I added to my pool was to bring the hardness level up a bit and added a bit of salt when I had to drain the pool because of the rain. Besides that I put nothing else in my pool from April to October. It ran for four hours a day and kept everything beautiful. I'm hoping I get a lot more use from it next year when it's opened again but we shall see. For $129 will keep buying these even if they only last a year, because it saves from having to buy chlorine and the frustration of having to add it and keep everything balanced. Highly recommended for an above ground pool Intex or not. **update April 2019** Opened my pool April 2019. Plugged this in and it fired right up. I installed a new liner so I filled with fresh water, put in the salt to about 2,800 and balanced the water. So far the generator fired right back up and is sanitizing my water. I will update the review again if the unit dies or makes it this year*** ## Frequently Bought Together - Intex Krystal Clear Saltwater System for Above-Ground Pools up to 15,000 Gallons - Pool Salt Tester & PH Meter, Hofun Digital Salinity Meter and PH Tester for Aquarium and Pool Saltwater Water, 5 in 1 Salinity PH Temp EC and TDS Meter, Aquarium Swimming Pool Hot Tub, High Accuracy - HTH 52047 Swimming Pool Care Salt Shock, Stabilized Chlorinator, 1 dose Treats 10000 gallons, 5x12oz Packets --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fi/products/754814387-intex-krystal-clear-saltwater-system-with-e-c-o-electrocatalytic](https://www.desertcart.fi/products/754814387-intex-krystal-clear-saltwater-system-with-e-c-o-electrocatalytic) --- *Product available on Desertcart Finland* *Store origin: FI* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
