All communication was very quick, friendly, and helpful. As for the remote itself, it is exactly like the original one. It came fully charged and was very easy to program with my truck. Doesn't come with the protective glass shield the original did, but the auto shop wanted almost $400 for the remote. They claimed it was because of the "programming" (Turning the car on and off 5 times fast) and the lifetime warranty. One caveat though. I have both FOBs and only one is connected at a time. So the last one used will be the only one that is notified if the alarm goes off.
