Initially thought the book cover wasnt that good but the quality is overall good enough

I loved the book especially the thrill, the dark humour, twisted characters. For me the show is a little better than the book. Sometimes the book feels so disturbing, but still I enjoyed the book a lot. I would rate it a 4⭐.

I came across the show of YOU in 2020 and fell in love with the character of Joe (A Manipulative Psycho), I don't know why but characters like Joe Goldberg always fascinate me and make me feel the urge to know about them more. FINALLY after years of starting and watching the three seasons of the web series I bought this book, and yes I am glad that I read it. This book provides more depth to the character of Joe Goldberg who wants people to grow out of the habits and nature which he considers to be bad and therefore puts them in the cage, but things never workout as they had worked out earlier when he had been put into the cage by the bookshop's owner and he always ends up murdering them. This book is different from the show in many ways so be ready for some surprises, you might not see some of the characters of the show in this book at all. If you enjoy reading psychological thrillers with a touch of romantic smut, this book would be perfect for you.

I loved th book. Book is amazing but the quality is not satisfying. Book came with some print problems.

This story has been adapted into a web series, released on Netflix, with the same name.Joe Goldberg manages a bookstore and it’s here that he meets the love of his life (he claims so), Guinevere Beck, who is presently in college. Joe becomes overwhelmed by her beauty and begins to obsessively stalk her. This is no average love story. The entire story is written as a narrative from a psychopath’s (Joe) point of view. As the reader progresses, he/she shall encounter considerable dark twists and turns.This book is somewhat erotic as it contains sexual words and descriptions.I’m glad that I watched the web series before reading this because the fine descriptions are indeed disturbing. Since the author wished to develop the character of a psychopath, I’ll definitely say she did a marvellous job. Except for some parts that can be triggering to some, the story doesn’t get boring and you may remain hooked to it till you turn the last leaf. Besides some minute changes in the web series, everything is pretty much the same.If you’re not a bibliophile but are simply interested in engaging in a dark, thrilling adventure, watching the web series on Netflix itself may suffice to satiate that desire.

Best in Thrill and killer.I bought this book after when i had seen the series.Large number of scenes describe in the book and in the series are different (but loved it).After completing this one go for the second part(The hidden bodies).
