I thoroughly enjoy the variable ND filter being able to adjust it on the fly without having to switch screw-on filters which is frustrating and-time consuming. It is much easier, more convenient, and such a time saver.The quality of this unit is typical Canon quality and works very smoothly with just a turn of the dial. You can also remove the ND filter completely and replace it with another, or with the clear glass filter if you prefer no ND filter at all. I with this unit came with the glass (neutral) filter as a standard so you don't have to purchase something just to fill the hole if you don't want to use a filter at all. This is really the only negative thing I have to say about it, other than the high price. I was shocked to see the price tag for this simple little adapter, which is more than I paid for my first Canon DSLR camera (a refurbished t5i). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good, but slight over-priced *by M***. on September 25, 2020* Aside for the cost of entry, this is one of those things that just needs to work as expected to be very good. The image quality is excellent and build quality is very good. The only physical thing I would change is, I would like to have a detent or friction set into the rotation wheel to help it hold a position. As it is, it is very easy to rotate. Also, the final step on the ND stop range really plays with the color balance. I'd suggest staying away from the end stop (which is somewhere around 9-11 stops). Otherwise it has VERY neutral color. The last gripe is the cost. However, it gives you something that no other system gives you so there is a value to it. You just have to decide if this convenience is worth it to you. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great tool for shooting in bright light and changing conditions. *by C***S on January 9, 2020* Great product. A little more expensive than I’d like, but it has pretty low color change throughout the range and it’s great that it works with all my EF glass. Would also like if it had an option to be set to 0 stops.
