I’m a disabled person so I’m not quick on the stairs and getting and keeping drinking water available was always a problem and required cases of bottled water to frequently be brought upstairs by my son. Now he can bring up the 5 gallon jugs and I can insert them into the bottom of the unit myself. I love it so far! It does everything it says. I like that I can shut off the power to the heating and cooling components to save energy. No more water bottles, so I’m saving money and helping the environment. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can a glass bottle be used with this product or does the bottle need to be plastic?**
A: Due to their construction, glass bottles may have narrower necks than plastic bottles and the dispenser's water probe (which draws water from the bottle) may not fit properly. The dispenser does not require a seal on the bottle to operate but it may not be able to draw all of the water if the probe does not fit.

**Q: Does this dispenser only work with primo water bottles? I get water from Arrowhead Water so wondering if it works with that.**
A: It works with any standard water bottles.  I have only used arrowhead water bottles with this dispenser.  I've never actually used any primo water bottles.

**Q: Can the  primo 601088 also accomodate 3 gallon water bottles? Does the 601088 have 1 or 2 spouts?**
A: Anyone else looking for the answer can search the manufacturer and the model number... in the results, you should find the users manual, which states "Requires standard 3, 4 or 5 gallon water dispenser bottles. "

My adult son, adult daughter and my 94 year old mother and I all have this water cooler and we love it. Primo brand water tastes good as does Poland Spring. Both brands of 5 gallon bottles fit this dispenser. It’s easy to load. Hardest part is picking up the bottle(s) and getting them home. They are heavy. Having this cooler encourages the drinking of more water instead of juice and soda and I don’t have to deal with tons of plastic bottles around the house or in the trash. There’s a red safety button on top to protect young children from the hot water. Hot water is convenient for tea and hot cocoa. Only thing that could make it better would be a company discount for buying so many.
