Is it big enough to hold clothes & shoes as well as wash bag & towels?** A: Yes it’s quite big. Using mine as carry on plane bag, got change of clothes, ipad and books in it - no problem. **Q: Is it strong material to take on board** A: Yes it is very strong plenty of room and light to carry **Q: How much weight can it carry? I am planning to put dumbells 16kg. Will the handles be able to carry this kind of weight?** A: I doubt it. The shoulder straps are very thin and the material is lightweight. There is no wieght to it. It opens up to a size which is adequate for my swimming stuff with a couple of decent size towels. It also has extra room in front sections for phones, wallets ect. The reason this can expand is because there is no structure or padding to it so it wont be great for carrying any weighty items over an ectended period. However for my purpose of carrying gym / swim kit it is very adequate.
