Review: Perfect for what we needed - We had the crystal fitting in our Abbey 420 and it was a nightmares to use, not wanting to buy a whole new pump we went for this kit instead. We had a whale pump with the fitting for the crystal inlet and on the whole this was pretty easy to swap and get fitted. It can be a bit fiddly so, if like my husband, you're not good with intricate work maybe get some one to help! Things I wasn't expecting: I had to cut down our hose quite a bit (about an inch) and the type of hose clamp it comes with (single ear hose clip, Google tells me) can be tricky to get an angle to secure it in place tightly. Luckily I had some small clamp pliers for jewellery making that did the job. One other thing to notice is that the electrical connection in the van is a bit precarious so might be worth securing it in place with some tape, our shook itself loose on our first outing with it. Overall I am happy to say we have amazing water flow into our van these days!

**Q: is this a straight swap from the Crystal 3**
A: The Ultraflow Compact Housing conversion kit allows you to convert your existing compact housing system whether it be the old Carver Crystal system or another brand, without the necessity to replace the pump assembly.

**Q: I have the truma compact crystal 2, on a bessacarr 550 gl cameo will this system replace this?**
A: This is the replacement for the crystal 2. First check the size of the old unit.

**Q: Would this fit a baileys ranger caravan series 460/2**
A: I have fitted this to a coachman also a compass it was just a 1/2hour  job. More or less a straight swop

**Q: I'm new to caravaning, but will this replace my truma crystal compact and will i use existing hose? What else is required please? Many thanks**
A: The kit comes complete with the female plug unit to replace your original one fitted to the caravan .
And also the male plug , and I just used my original pump and fitted to the ultra flow one .
It’s a much better unit than the original as the male plug holds in the female a lot better.
As it says in the description it is conversion kit .

This item is fitted with two electrical connectors if your van doesn't have this just pull the off and a small blob of silicone over hole job done and easy to fit
