Very happy with the product and it has definitely elevated my flight sim comfort and experience. It looks handsome in my desk. At $65 for a PAIR it’s a fantastic deal. As far as the product goes: It’s sturdy. In my pictures are VKB gladiators. Not the heaviest but they’re heavy and I have them tensioned hard and the mount does not budge. No sliding, twisting, creaking or anything of the sort. They stay in place. Pulling them out of position pretty much moves my whole desk. I assembled using the Type A or 01 method. They’re a little longer than I’d like but this is minor. I have to commend the maker of this kit. It’s well designed for aluminum extrusions. The fastening kits hold well and the screws don’t strip easily. The universal joystick mount is a smart design and comes with different size screws to fit your kit. My particular table has a frame on the edge of the desk so the clamps were unusable but simply stacking some 5mm plywood to level out the table and the frame fixed this as seen in my pictures . But this is just my weird table and few will have this issue. Some tips: take your time in assembling this. Instructions came in a form of a QR code on the box which takes you to a YouTube assembly video. Watch the entire video before assembling. With the exception of a couple of screws you should screw them in lightly at first as you’ll need to make final adjustments anyway when fitting to your desk. Minimize messing with the screws as aluminum is soft and there’s no need to over tighten. Make sure to connect the extrusions carefully and squarely and you should have a fantastic hotas setup. The hardest part was trying to get the mounts attached to my joysticks. Don't give up! Once they are all put together and mounted, they are rock sold and should last a lifetime. It's all metal - the only plastic parts are the decorative caps, it's heavy duty. Need to know if i need to buy one or 2?** A: It only comes with one mount, for a complete set up you need to buy two. The ad is a bit misleading, it kind of leads you to believe that there are mounts for both throttle and joystick. BTW, it is not terribly stable. Based on another customer review which implied the mount was not stable enough for the HOTAS Warthog, I mounted the throttle on the JPEIN and bought a separate mount for the stick. The JPIEN tends to wobble and isn't terribly stable. I will likely replace this with a different model when finances allow. **Q: Is this vertical adjustable?** A: Vertical and horizontal. Basically it's two sets of tracks that connect together. The plate that holds the joysticks is attached to one track that slides forward and backward, and that is mounted to a vertical track that allows it to go up and down. My girlfriend and I are different heights, so to adjust it you simply loosen 4 screws a half turn, move it, and tighten. It's even self squaring. It comes with a nice ball driver allen wrench to adjust it which I store in the tracks. **Q: Can someone confirm if the updated version has wobble? Noticed t he one review video with a warthog had wobble but it was the old version.** A: I purchased the upgraded version for use with the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS Joystick and Throttle. Absolutely no wobble in this setup. I have no concerns with the mount holding the weight of the throttle. I've left it attached to my desk for 10+ days and never had the need to retighten or be concerned that it would fall off. Definitely worth the purchase. **Q: Does this work with vkb gladiator nxt joystick?** A: My gladiator MK2 mounts perfectly. You will need it slid out to it's maximum for full pitch down authority. I was looking at significantly more expensive options out there before I found this one. I decided to pick up one to test it out and see what was in store. When I received the box, it came with a bunch of parts. There's minimal assembly required - it took me 5 minutes to go from opening the box to having mounted Warthog stick on my desk with it. All tools are included! I was really impressed by every single screw being a thumbscrew - and the included Allen key is the only thing you need to get this assembled. The adjustability is seriously impressive - you can adjust the height and depth of exactly where you want your stick or throttle to be. I spent a few minutes playing around with it to get it to exactly where I wanted it to be. All you need to do is loosen a few screws, move the assembly on its rails, and re-tighten! The desk clamp has a rubber surface on the inside top portion of the clamp to prevent your desk from getting harmed. I have an all-white desk and after an intense session of flying the A10-C in DCS World, I saw absolutely no damage to my desk. This is really well-built. It comes with a bunch of adapters for whichever stick and throttle you might have. I mounted my throttle with it and it is stable. My desk will move before the mount ever does.
