You will place you're stock sensor in that hole and screw it in place. **Q: How much housepower gain** A: +12 lbs of torque and +4 on hsp **Q: how hard is it to put this on? do i have to move certain components around?** A: You need to remove the old filter and mount this to the valve cover bolt. You also need to remove the sensor from the old filter and fit it on this one. Last the small breather hose needs to be fitted onto the new filter to avoid maintenance light from coming on. It's a very easy replacement and if I'm not mistaken it comes with instructions. The filter does not hold up. The rubber will start to crack after a couple years. The factory hose was too short. Not a huge problem but aggravating. The item is not a true cold air either. It is placed near the firewall near the computer. The air is sucked from a heated area. The engine has a nice growl now.I love to rev it up in park to hear the increased air flow(Although I also have a custom muffler). People also compliment the look of the intake when I raise my hood. Overall I haven't notice any gains yet but that's because I have only had it for such a short time upon writing this review(1 Day). Installation was as easy as possible and maintenance only requires you to wash the filter or simply vacuum it.
