Perfect pack for Personal item bag under-seat for Airlines
Perfect size for a 5’3 female. I don’t look like a turtle wearing this pack!! And it’s super comfortable even with a heavy load! The best part is how much I can fit inside of the pack! There are many pockets, therefore you don’t need packing cubes to sort your belongings. Another plus is that it fits under a seat on an airplane. I had it packed full! (I recently flew Spirit Airlines)Cons: PRICE$$$ However, it’s worth the price. I no longer need to add or check a carry-on bag and the material of the bag is heavy duty. It is similar if not equal to the North Face basecamp line of duffels/backpacks. The backback straps are a little difficult to pull out when you stow them away. I’m hoping they’ll be easier to pull out from the pack as I continue to use the bag. It doesn’t bother me much. Overall a great sturdy, reliable, and convertible pack for a minimalist.

Perfect under seat companion
This bag is perfect for weekend getaways where you don’t want to hassle with lugging around a normal sized roller or carryon duffle that you need to put in an overhead bin. I pair this with a hip pack and together I have everything I need accessible for a flight. It’s pretty comfortable too on a petite woman due to the hip belt so I can distribute the weight lower so my shoulders don’t hurt. I took this on my recent trip to NYC and had no issues maneuvering around on the subway. It also fits perfectly under an airline seat and the rain cover included also doubles as a protective cover to keep the back part of the backpack where the straps are off the dirty airplane carpet. Would highly recommend.

Excellent for air travel with kids
I love this pack! We got the 28L and the 35L for our trip to Europe with 2 kids. We used the smaller pack (28L) for toys and snacks. The zip compartments kept it contained so we could open it on our laps in flight to pull out what we needed. The top outer pocket was great for holding passports, my wallet, reading glasses, kindle and a few quick grab snacks. The larger version was more of the "extras" pack. We put a packing cube with a change of clothes for each person, neck rests for 3 of us, extra diapers and wipes, larger headphones and toiletries. It's well made and seems like it will last a very long time. It does not have a water bottle pocket. But that didn't bother us too much. We put the water bottle inside the bag (if you keep the zippers on top, you can open it slightly and slide a water bottle down into the middle of the bag between the zip sides. It's easy to access that way and I don't have to worry about losing it. The bags are also pretty comfortable to wear through an airport with a lot of stuff. Eventually it gets heavy but what bag doesn't with that much stuff in it? Great purchase!

Like to travel light and pack efficiently?
I already own the Allpa 35L and have used it on trips as long as 2 weeks and as far as Japan (it being my only luggage). I wanted a similar experience for shorter trips. The Allpa 28L did not disappoint! It has so many of the high quality features and creative and effective use of compartments to make packing efficient. Although I was disappointed I couldn’t get the new bag blue to match my older one, i love the grey and fiery red. My favorite feature of the bag is that it opens like a suitcase making for easy packing and unpacking.

Picture looks bigger than it really is.
I returned the 28L travel pack but only because it is too small. It would be a tight fit for a week's worth of clothes and don't even think about putting a pair of shoes in. It's just too compact. Better for a weekend trip. My personal backpack that carries a 17" inch laptop is the same size! I ordered the 35L and I'm hoping it will fit more. I love the material and safety features and modern look. Just have to go large.

Love this bag
I love this bag. I researched and tried several brands, but this has the best look, best versatility, and best layout for short business trips. I did 4 days of closthes, PLIS a blazer, chukka boots and backup jeans - so basically 5 days of clothes. Really impressed with the quality too.

Great pack for carrying clothes.
I purchased this pack for a trip to Europe as my "personal item" along with my carry-on suitcase for boarding the plane. It proved to be very roomy and I was able to get several changes of clothes in it without a problem. It has many external pockets. The "locking" system of the security zippers gave me a piece of mind when walking through crowded train stations and tourist spots. The only drawback is the weight - it is not as light as some of your hiking backpacks of similar size.
