Very Impressed
I bought this to scrape concrete floors more easily but I actually haven’t used it for that. I’ve used it to dig into dirt with many roots. It cuts right through the roots and digs into the toughest soil with ease. I love it. I’ve also used it to chisel off concrete where it wasn’t wanted from a recent pour. Worked great. This is such a versatile tool that I never thought I wanted. I’ve come to love WEN tools and have found them to be well built. This is another one of their gems.

Great product
Lifesaver, this is a great product for where we live. We have very rocky soil and we were building a deck and could not use a shovel, this made easy work to dig holes for our 6x6 post. We also used it to plant a tree in our backyard. Would highly recommend to anyone who has hard pan or rocky soil.

Scraper tool - Keeps breaking.
The scraper tool that comes with this product keeps breaking on me. I used it to take up tile and the mortar that was underneath. It worked well on the tile. The tool keeps snapping on the mortar. The one that came with the tool snapped. I thought that was weird but maybe it was defective. I did not ask for a warranty replacement at that time. I actually ordered two more from WEN. They cost $40 each. I got two just in case. Sure enough, they both broke in the same place. They worked pretty good until they broke. I got about 3 hours of work in for each one before they broke. I have attached picture of the second and third ones. I did not keep the first.I have submitted a warranty claim now on all three. They have requested information such as pictures, proof of purchase and model, order numbers. As I said, I did not keep the first one so I have no picture of it. I will update upon hearing back from them.Update:The company sent me 3 replacements as I requested. The also threw in a chipper attachment. It was handled very professionally.

Expensive but worth every dollar.
I'm 78. I'm still active but digging holes in this Georgia clay can be a bit much. Unfortunately, my wife's hobby is plants. Plants need holes. Now that I have this pneumatic shovel, I don't mind digging holes for her. Even digging through the gravel driveway is easy. I need a shovel to lift the lose dirt out of the hole. I love this thing.

Could be amazing... But they have a serious quality issue.
I have had two of these units now. The newest began to fail in only five minute. I have a 80 gallon compressor so plenty of CFM and air to run the tool. What happens is where the handle meats the orange piece EP grease starts to swap out. The handle then loosens and begins spinning. It's almost as if the factory couldn't get the handle and the bit to line up when at full torque so they backed it off. Wen needs to add a set screw or some thread locker to these units. The orange piece is actually in a couple sections. As you'll see in the other picture the black line is another section starting to come apart, the paint cracks and away she goes... It pretty much vibrates itself apart which is quite ironic

Great Time/back Saver
The media could not be loaded. This thing is great. Wasn’t sure what to expect. I used it to dig out, by hand, an 8x10x4 foot space in my basement. Solid, heavy, dirt. It worked flawlessly, made the job sooo much easier, and held up no problem. I also used it to punch out the cement wall, again, very easy. I only used a 6 gallon pancake compressor. Had to stop and clear dirt, which gave it enough time to refill. I have about 10 hours on it. I would buy it again, even if it died tomorrow, but I don’t believe it will. Seems very sturdy and heavy duty.

This is a lot of tool for the money
This thing is pretty awesome if you have a good compressor. Mine is small so I have get little 7-10 second bursts of this thing being awesome them it slows down and I wait for my compressor to compress. The shovel attachment is awesome, I've used it for a couple hours. The wide scraper seems great and works great until it breaks, which I have broken twice under normal conditions. The scraper is at an angle from the shaft and it is weak at that bend point. Just a couple hours use max and each one broke. $38 to replace and they didn't even send the blade, just the assembly. I won't fall for replacing that part again. Otherwise I'm still optimistic.

Great investment
Unique product. The ground was hard. The shovel did all the work. Worth every penny.
