Luxus-Vogelhaus 28820 Feeder in Silver Design with Wooden Stand 33 cm

The post is really poor, it comes in pieces that connect together with plastic fixings. These do not properly secure - I had to use gorilla glue to make mine remotely sturdy.Unfortunately, even with that done, the wood is so light that it can easily be snapped with your hands (found out later when binning it), so light in fact that it doesn’t properly support the weight of the feeder on top. Even when hammered a foot into the ground, the feeder, when full, still causes the pole to lean in one direction or another.I ended up just binning the pole and affixing a broom handle to the bottom of the bird feeder - this fixed the problem.The feeder itself is pretty good, although the plastic is surprisingly thin!I paid £11 for it in an Amazon warehouse deal, I certainly wouldn’t pay any more something with this lack of quality.

Nice item but not squirrel proof. They decided that the nuts didn’t come out quickly enough so removed a lot of plastic from the base.

The Cylinder comes undone too easily, the joints aren't strong enough and it's far too expensive for what it is. A broom handle with a bird feeder on top would have been just as effective for a third of the price. It is very easy for rodents to climb due to the thickness and grip of the pole.

The feeder is perfectly fine, like many others I did have problems with the pole but simply tightening some of the screws and replace one and the pole is perfectly sturdy. Some people would rather just complain that do a two second adjustment my birds seem perfect happy with it and have 3 or 4 on a time with a full feeder

I wanted to send the seller a separate email but I was not offered the choice in Amazon. The lowest holes of this feeder are just large enough for a young bird to get their head caught in. Luckily, I had a neighbour nearby to help me enlarge the hole and retrieve a young bird alive. It is hard to find a good balance with design but I hope the designer can make improvements or the owners cover up the lowest holes in spring to protect young eager birdies. By far, this feeder has been the easiest design to keep clean, dry, and relatively maintenance free. The wooden pole does not hold up well but a metal replacement would make it last longer. When the wooden dowels fit loosely the bigger birds pull these out for more seed. I had one feeder where this occurred and one that remained intact.

This was not cheap but the seed feeder is made of the cheapest, flimsiest plastic.The pole has to be assembled and one of the pieces was the incorrect one, without the screw needed to fit with the others.I returned this and will never buy from this company again.

Its crap save your money the pole is flimsy and even when you glue it together its unsatisfactory you are better off buying a bird feeder with a singular pole not a cheap screw type that comes with this
