Well thought out
Good detail, I particularly like the detail in the reproduction section that is often overlooked. A layman should be able to grow with this book alone.

Fair
I guess it is a book that would be good for someone new to mushroom farming. It was ok ok.

Poorly informed, lacks substance -- waste of time
This text marries weak theses, misinformation, borrowed content, a poorly organized and oversimplified description of cultivation and lots of tables and countless unnecessary, often irrelevant pictures to stretch the page count.

no more informative than you tube

Terrible, full of Out-right lies, miss-information
This book is fundamentally flawed, it has a great deal of half truths, and many falsehoods or outright fabrications that the author has made up "because it sounds right"the only things that were correct in the book were the things that were stolen from other people, pioneers in their field. This is a terrible attempt at writing, and should be removed from shelves to save new mycologists the agony of having everything go wrong, when they have followed the "guide book" to the letter.|If ever a book should be burnt, en mass, it would be this one

Good but brief information.
I would have liked to have had more detail in the subjects covered. The chapters were not much more than a compilation of things that are available for free
