400+ Christmas Carols Book - Sheet Music for Piano (Favorite Christmas Carol Songs of Praise - Lyrics & Tunes 1)

I am very disappointed in this collection of carols. The print is small and hard to read. It appears to be a collection of carols mostly by composers that are unknown. The carols are not in the same font, so apparently they were taken from various resources, many of them old, which I discerned from the font and size of print. I will be able to use only a few of the 400+ carols.

Amazing collection. I wanted it for playing on the piano, but it's NOT a piano book, it's 4-part harmony. That's ok in my case since I can follow the melody and add my own left-hand accompaniment, but not everyone can do that. Most people wouldn't be able to play the left hand of alot of the songs as given, since they may have very wide voice-spacing...larger than an average hand. If you a choir director, this is the book for you!

One of my favorite things about Christmas is the music, especially the hymns that I remember hearing in church as a child. When I saw this on Amazon, for free, I picked it up - I mean, free can't kill me. I'm glad I did. This is full of words and music (done nicely) for every Christmas Carol I could think of and more. I was thoroughly impressed. I have to admit that I expected it to not be as good as it was because I was reading it on a Kindle, but it was easy to read the music and the words.

Very nice collection but appears to be poorly printed or copied.

You have to search for familiar carols. Lots of very obscure songs. Downloaded for free but I would have been disappointed if I had purchased it.

Good music, just not quite the mix I was hoping I could get

Contains music and lyrics (multiple verses) for a great number of Christmas tunes - most of which I had never heard of.

I bought this to play on my piano. It looks like they scanned a bunch of hymn books, sometimes two to a page. The font is very small and difficult to read. I could't see this without difficulty from my piano, bench, where I'm able to read standard classical music that isn't made large, without problem. Nice selection, horrible font and size

I purchased the printed copy of this book. I don't know how the kindle version fares, but I had no difficulty reading the music.That doesn't do me any good, though, since the music isn't what I thought (and believe anybody must think) I would be purchasing. This seemed such a good idea at the time but it has turned out to be a disappointment.On the one hand there are many carols here and someone has done a lot of work collecting them together.However, I am hard pressed to find any familiar ones, let alone modern songs (often counted as carols even thought they are not, e.g. "Jingle Bells")While it does fit on my kindle, the screen is too small for easy use at the piano - you can enlarge the text but you will need a spare hand to scroll down/across. If you are able to print out a hard copy that might work for you.I shall not be using this when going carol singing this year.

Although there are hundreds of songs in here, this book is a complete waste of money. Firstly, not being spiral bound, such a large volume does not remain open properly in order to use it. Secondly, the print is so tiny on most of the pages, it is very trickey to read the music. I am thinking about butchering it so that the pages are at least loose leaves and can be placed on the piano music stand. Can't do much about the size of the print without enlarging on a photocopier.

I thought it looked marvellous but, when it arrived, I found it uses quite an archaic print which is very small and not the easiest to read. There was also quite a lot of space around the music and I felt that that should have been used to enlarge the music to full page. Sorry, but I returned the item.

Good but difficult to have on the piano. Best to copy the song as the book is too heavy to have on the music stand of the piano. Very bulky.
