Love this tool! Nice and light weight so I am easily able to use it one handed without much effort at all. It easily cleans up after each use.I used this product in well drained soil with minimal amounts of clay. It definitely did what I was hoping for, dig trenches and holes in my garden. I even used it to chop up some roots from a nearby bush, it has no trouble chopping through small roots.The only issue I ran into was when I was digging into a tighter area around my sprinkler box. Because the blade is horizontal it can sometimes be difficult to get just where I wanted. I wonder if a blade in the back (like a pick axe) would be worth the trade off of a weightier tool.

The wood was cracked when i got it. I’m not gonna waste my time. I just returned it for a refund will go to HD and just buy a pick or a hoe

In all of my years of gardening, and I'm 75 years old, this is the best tool I have ever found for heavy weeding.

This hoe is perfect for hand work in the garden. It is balanced and light enough for anyone to use and the stainless steel blade eliminates rust. Would buy again if I ever need to replace it.

Very durable... We worked our front yard.... And even bid roots of an old tree came out... We found it easier to work with them a big hoe
