GOT A SAWEET TOOTH? THEN THIS IS FOR YOU!!
VERY NICE PRODUCT. GREAT FOR THOSE WHO SHOULD NOT CONSUME SUGAR FOR HEALTH REASONS. IT HAVE THE CLEAN SWEET TASTE OF SUGAR, IT IS EXCHANGEABLE 1 TO 1 FOR SUGAR IN RECIPES, BUT IT IS NOT SUGAR!! IT DOES NOT SPIKE YOUR INSULIN. IT ALSO HAS HEALTH BENEFITS!! GERMS AND VIRUSES LIKE TO EAT SUGAR AND SO WHEN YOU EAT SUGAR, IT WEAKENS YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM, AMONG OTHER THINGS, BUT, THESE SAME GERMS AND VIRUSES THINK THE SWEETNESS OF THIS IS THE SAME AS THE SUGAR THEY LIKE, AND THEY LATCH ONTO IT AND OUR BODIES DO NOT USE THIS SO WE JUST PASS IT OUT OF OUR BODIES,AND ALONG WITH IT , GOES THOSE PESKY GERMS AND VIRUSES!! IT HELPS TO KEEP US GERM FREE ON THE INSIDE!! HELPS PREVENT TOOTH CAVITIES TOO!! ALSO HELPS YOU TO LOSE WEIGHT!! IT IS A LITTLE PRICEY, BUT WHEN YOU COMPARE THIS COST TO WHAT IT COSTS FOR DENTISTRY AND WEIGHT LOSS PRODUCTS, AND ADD ON THE COST OF DRUGS AND MEDICINES FOR HEALTH, THEN IT PALES BY COMPARISON!! MONEY BETTER SPENT!!

Recommend highly...
I'm diabetic, and I have a sweet tooth -- not a good combination. Moreover, my husband loves sweets so much that when he asks, "what's for dinner?" he really means, "what dessert did you make today?" The xylitol makes us both happy. It doesn't raise my sugar levels (I don't have to take extra insulin when I use it), and my husband can't tell the difference between it and real sugar. I used it for a month without telling him, and he discerned no difference in our cakes, pies, etc. Add to that the fact that it has far fewer calories than sugar, and for us it is an excellent choice. It isn't cheap compared to sugar, but it doesn't raise blood sugar levels (even in a healthy person too much sugar isn't good) and it costs a lot less than insulin. Healthy or diabetic, you can't go wrong with this stuff.

Total satisfaction...
I use this product as a total white refined sugar substitute and have been totally satisfied with its taste, texture, dissolving capability in coffee, on fruit, cereals, in baking. My only wish is that it were a bit less expensive, but we dont go through it quickly so it works out.

Not Birch and made in China. (supposed non GMO corn)
I was under the impression it was from US and from Birch. Wrong! China and "non GMO corn" HAAAA!!! China is well known for deception in marketing. They knock off products and call them original. Been there,I have patents and worked with them. They are even non trusting of each other. Many companies steal patents and are unethical. Some people or special companies in China may be wonderful, but how do we know for sure. There is a difference between corn and birch. Just like saying salt is salt. Himalayan salt is NOT the same as Morton's processed salt. I don't care what the "scientists" say. So my vote is thumbs down. I did call them directly and they admitted it's not from Birch. Also claim there is no corn left by the time they are done processing it. There's a big clue. Processing out any possible trace elements is fine for corn, but i am getting Birch because I don't want it processed to death like Morton's.Oh well, the packaging is pretty, they were very polite and if you are not a fanatic like me, then buy it. The value is there and it's probably better than others in the corn arena and hey, it beats processed sugar.

More finely ground than other brands
We have used a few other brands of Xylitol in the past, and they all were a pretty coarse texture. This one is more finely ground, so it dissolves quicker in hot drinks and in baking. I'm pleased with it and will buy again!
