Pleasant HearthFireplace Gloves

These are really nice gloves. Quality is very good. Great purchase.

Purchased these for my step daughter as she recently purchased a home with a fire place insert and she kept burning her hands. These gloves do work well and they protect the hands from high temperatures. I didn't like them as much as the ones I purchased for my fireplace insert, because they weren't as big as the ones I have at my house. They work for her because she has smaller hands. My husband has larger hands, and I don't think these would fit him. But they fit me just fine.

I purchased this exact pair about 2yrs ago and liked them so much I bought another pair for another fireplace and was really disappointed when they showed up this week (Nov 15 2018). Totally different color (this one is more of a fake reddish brown vs very nice leather looking tan color), different lining that is much less comfortable and on top of that the fit was different. Just. Way cheaper and less desirable item. Went right back in mail. Please go back to older style. I am now trying to find from other vendors on Amazon.

These gloves are fantastic, I know hard to get excited by a pair of gloves. I have been using theseGloves for over two weeks feeding my wood burning insert. Form the day the gloves arrived I have been tickled pink with them. These gloves are a steal at $15!

These are great gloves that easily handle the heat. I have even used them to reach in to the stove to move a few burning logs and they do well. They heat up a bit more than others I have used, but the lining in them makes them a nice, comfortable glove.

For working around a woodburning stove or a charcoal grill, these are absolutely indispensable. Length comes just shy of the elbows, fingers are roomy enough but flexible enough not to be clumsy. Great gift...that's how I got mine.

They are perfect for me! I can pick up wood and feel safe putting the wood in the fireplace.

These gloves are quite big on my small hands, but don't slip. I was using a worn down pair of leather gloves before finding these, but they didn't protect from the heat. Now I can put a log in the woodstove without scorching the skin on my hands. I saw a review stating that the gloves smoked - that has not happened with mine. They are great except that I can't seem to clean the soot off them, so just a coupe weeks after getting them they look old like me :>

Tried it with a woodburning stove.The gloves started smoking when I was stocking the fire.
