I’m very disappointed. It’s definitely my fault for overlooking the part that says “in vermouth” BUT nowhere on the jar does it say contains alcohol!! Isn’t there laws that state you have to put that on the container! I don’t drink... I bought these because I was craving them and almost popped them open and snacked on them! It took several days to receive a response from sellers about the alcohol and the first answer never directly said yes... in fact I believe they said no! I hade to pose the question again and ask specifically if the vermouth had alcohol .. and sure enough it does. If I remember correctly vermouth is actually high in alcohol and this is a problem!

We use these onions for a variety of things as well as for cocktails, for example, they are a nice little palate cleanser for a traditional cheese fondue, or cut into tiny little quarters, an accent for deviled eggs, cheese slice on cracker hors d'oeuvres or on the side of a welch rarebit. (Are you detecting our "pairs well with cheese" theme?) We also used the leftover juice to pickle some boiled eggs. All pretty yummy.

I recently got interested in making freezer martinis. A dirty gin martini garnished with this cocktail onion is sublime. The onion is savory, firm and crisp. It doesn't leave you with an onion aftertaste or breath. The jalapeno stuffing stayed in the onion and wasn't floating around in the brine. I'm a chili head so I was very happy to get a spicy jalapeno since heat levels vary from pepper to pepper.

I had had them before because I got them as a gift and I really enjoyed them. They have a touch or spiciness but not enough to be overwhelming. I strongly recommend them.

My household absolutely loves these onions!They are Perfect for martinis! Adds just the right amount of "kick" to a vodka martini.Yes they have a vinegar base and are in vermouth, but that's the best part.

Price was a little high I found a cheaper product with the same quality but over all they put out a good product

Liked the taste; used it for eating. Overpriced.
