Ten Timid Ghosts

I cannot recommend this book highly enough. My niece absolutely adores it and has learnt it off by heart. It helps with numbers (counting backwards, which is always good) and really appeals to her love of spooky things.A perfect spooky start for young mathematicians!

My twins love it so much they’ve learnt it by heart. Yes, we’ve read it that many time! Best buy ☺️

On the day we first got it, I had to read it 15 times in a row. Ghosts, a witch, a vampire, a monster but not too scary for a two year old.

This is such a sweet book!Nothing fussy or scary at all in this book - just harmless halloween chuckles and a bit of seasonal fun in learning to count (backwards).The illustrations are fun and interesting enough to take a moment to look at after reading.The text is very legible (helpful for bedtime reading by night light!) and the story is simple and quick to read (also a plus at bedtime).It's not a very strong book for kids who are rough at page turning but I suppose if you're in that situation, stick with board-back books!!

Great little book, my 4 year old originally borrowed this book from nursery and didn't want to return it as he loved it so much, so I found it here for him
