Although this frame is perfectly fine, it is not what I was expecting or needing. The issue arises, however, when you attempt to return the item. While the seller accepts the return, when I brought the frame to UPS, I was told it would be $500 to return . (The frame was $80. )The UPS man informed me he is seeing this a lot on Amazon. The item ships locally but requires the return ship to a foreign country, in this case Latvia. Bummer for me. I'll donate it to a local artist.

First, may I say that if you are looking for an 18x18 floating frame, it is my opinion that you will be hard-pressed to find one as that is not a common size. At least that was my experience. I finally found this one and gave it a try. It is a well-made frame constructed of some type of composite that looks really nice.The only reason I didn't give it five stars was the fact that hanging it wasn't as simple as I thought it would be. First, may I say that I have plenty of experience with home projects more difficult than hanging a picture so it's not that I don't know what to do with tools. It comes with hardware but without instructions. It's just not "intuitive" and I think it may be a bit difficult for some folks to do.I wound up not using the hardware that was provided, at least the portion that was intended to attach the wrapped canvas to the frame. Instead, I drilled a pilot hole (I think this would be important to do so that you do not split the frame) and then used a 7/8 inch screw - a wood screw is preferable - to drill through the frame and into the brackets of the wrapped canvas. Please note that a 3/4 inch screw will not be long enough to go through the frame and catch hold and a 1 inch screw, I thought, may possibly go through to the front of the frame. I would stick with the 7/8". I think anyone can use the string and screws provided for the hanging mechanism although I didn't use that either as I had some very nice "alligator" hangers that worked just fine.That is the only drawback I can see. The frame looks very nice now that it's up. I should also mention that it was packed so well that it looked professionally done. Overall, a good buy and a nice looking frame.

This frame is disappointing. First of all, it shops from Latvia, which means you can't return it unless you pay far more for shipping than you did for the actual frame. Second, the gap between the canvas and frame is just too large to look "right". My canvas is exactly 12"x12", but the spacing between the canvas an the frame just made it look like I bought a frame that was too large. The biggest problem I had is with the offset hooks. You can see in my picture that they are too long and there was no way to screw the hook to the canvas. Since I can't return it, I'm trying glue.

There is a little DIY with this but very much worth the extra effort. This was more than 50% cheaper than getting a frame from a cheap frame website and 75% cheaper than going to a frame shop. Very well made and it ships in a wooden frame to prevent damage. In fact when I opened it at first I was disappointed that they sent me a blonde wood frame until I realized it was just the packaging lol

Very cute frame - looks nice on my canvas painting. My only complaint is the metal pieces on the back that screw into the canvas and frame to hold it in there are visible when hung on the wall. You can see them protruding from the sides. After it was all said and done, it wasn’t worth taking apart and I’m probably the only one who notices.Also, this is intended for thinner canvases. I had a 1”+ thick canvas and I had to beat the metal holders with a hammer to flatten them out a bit in order to hold it in place. Still works though!

I have had a picture of Bob Marley for decades. A friend hand-painted it, but I never got around to framing it....... until I found this beautiful item.My canvas painting fit into this frame PERFRCTLY. It came impeccably packaged. There wasn't a scratch on it. Furthermore, the instructions were simple and straightforward, even for a novice. All I needed was a screwdriver.Needless to say, I am thoroughly pleased with this purchase and I wish I could give this item a 10 out of 10. It brought one of my favorite pictures to life!P.S. This frame is for canvas paintings/photos. It does not come with a glass.

This frame seems fine. I needed something this dimension in a hurry and this was what I could get with fast shipping. Shipping was even better than promised (great!) but the packaging was so intense that I accidentally snapped the frame while I was unboxing (oh no!). While this was my own fault, I have literally never in my life received something packaged like this and it was very very difficult to get out of the shipping materials

This is a beautiful, well constructed, well packaged, and easy to mount frame. It arrived quickly and was very neatly packaged. Just don't be dumb like me and think for a minute that the wooden packaging the frame is nestled in in the actual frame. :-) I highly recommend this seller and will order more frames from them in the future.
