It simply doesn’t work as the instructions say it does.
We tried to use the thermometer and followed the instructions. Simply put, the device doesn’t work as the instructions say it should. In fact, it doesn’t seem to work at all. The advertisement indicates temperatures are recorded in one second. Not true. We left the thermometer in place for up to ten seconds and still didn’t get a reading. Very disappointed and this item was returned.

Better than alternative
Seems like takes multiple tries to get what might be accurate. Also, does it somehow emit a high frequency sound? My dog does not like this even close to her. I have to hold her still to get a reading.

Totally inaccurate and a waste of money!!
Totally inaccurate on my dog ... and on ME for that matter! What is the point of having a thermometer that is totally inaccurate? It is a waste of money with no truth in advertising!

This Thermometer Did No Last 1 Year
While it is apparently now no longer being offered by Amazon, please note that ours didnot last one year. Changed batteries, etc., still didn't work. Maybe best to try another brand.
