Moen Chrome Sip Modern Cold Water Kitchen Beverage Faucet with Optional Filtration System, S5530

This sip faucet can be used with a reverse osmosis system with no issues. It also matches my regular faucet from the same family. Great quality from Moen as usual !

We use this Moen faucet for filtered water. It looks very nice and has a very laminar flow output, no bubbles caused by an aerator. It also has very smooth handle movement. I Would purchase another if needed.

The media could not be loaded.  We remodeled our kitchen and splurged for this and I am so glad we did! I think I’ve touched the handle like twice since we installed it. I thought it would be cool to have, but I had no idea how practical and amazing it would be. Motion sensor works great. Works with Google and Alexa. I don’t think I can ever go back to a faucet that is not motion sensors now.

Excellent looks, designed with a replacement sensor that connects to its paired filter but no support for connecting it to a real Reversible Osmosis undersink filter! I rigged it with a connector hose from Home Depot without the sensor connection. I wish they offer the sensor power source and timer as a separate component and a connector for RO filter units and also match the design with their infrared sensor based motion based main kitchen faucets.

This is a beautiful faucet, very high quality chrome finish. The spigot swings easily, and the control lever feels very solid.Note that it needs to be installed through a 1-1/4 inch hole if you’re using the optional wire that connects to a Moen undersink filter. If you don’t need that wire, it can be disconnected from the base plate and the faucet will easily fit through a standard 1 inch opening. The base plate is cheap chromed plastic, not metal, which is the only shortcoming and is surprising for a faucet at this price.I didn’t use the baseplate, since the faucet covered my 1-inch countertop hole without it. I added a neoprene washer cut to fit the bottom of the faucet, which sealed the bottom and provided some cushioning.The faucet uses a standard 3/8 inch compression fitting, and also accepts a 1/4 inch compression connection by using an inexpensive adapter available at any home center or plumbing supply. My brass adapter cost $3 at that orange apron home center.Best feature was the price, an Amazon Warehouse used item, fifty bucks, a fraction of the regular Amazon price. The faucet was perfect in every way, not a nick or scratch anywhere, and appeared to be brand new.

works way better than what we had. Ultimately, 1.5 years ago we did a complete kitchen remodel with a beautiful delta faucet. ...they didn't make a matching RO spout... So at that time I could either buy a cheap one from China for $50 or buy an expensive one for $500... No one was making this style, it seemed. Fast forward, 6 months the cheap one was starting to fall apart. I was literally gluing things in place... fast forward one more year, it was complete rubbish. I had no choice.Finally there were way more contemporary matte black options. ...and since Moen is a reliable brand, I picked it despite the fact that it costs nearly as much as my kitchen faucet. It's gorgeous, has great pressure, and matches! worth the splurge...

I like the look. It matches our Moen faucet. Install was fairly easy until it came time to connect it to the water system. The used package must have been missing the 3/8”compression fitting cause it took me three trips to the store to secure the right parts.
