Eye Opener
I purchased this book right before going through the hardest month in my life. I felt like this book was brought to me in preparation to what I was about to happen.Let me tell you that if you are going through hard times, and you need help prioritizing what's important and what's not in your life, then this book will open your eyes and make you laugh at some of the things you've been so worried about. The amount of examples mentioned by the author really enforce the message and are a great way to see how people found ways out.

Highly recommended
This was one of the BEST books I have read. I understood that worry and Stress was not good but this book broke it down as to how it effects the body. It also gives ways to deal with stress. I highly recommend this book for anyone going through worry and stress...which we all face from time to time. I will keep this book handy.

READ this, even if you're not a "Worrier"
Highly recommend! I bought it for a friend who really is a worrier, but ended up reading the whole book myself! While we already know many of the truths found in this book, the reminders and the stories are invaluable. I really recommend it, even if you are NOT a worrier! There are so many little things that we all need to hear again. A very quick and worthwhile read!

Timeless Book of Excellent Approaches and Advice to Stop Worrying
People are different. The key to this book is that it presents many solutions and real life examples, one or two of which are bound to resonate with a person who worries too much. I bought this book 40 years ago when I worried too much about things that didn't need to be worried about in the way I was worrying about them. The book solved my problem. Since then when friends or family are being overwhelmed by worry I get them their own copy. It has helped every one of them, sometimes by reading only the section about living in day tight compartments. One person I know went to see a counselor and got the same advice except had to pay a lot more money for it. To anyone who worries, read this book! And if you start to worry again, read the book again! It works.

Printing screw up
Pages 75-106 are missing and instead are replaced with a completely different book! The pages are filled with the book titled "The Trouble with Goats and Sheep" by Joanna Cannon, different page numbers, font, and everything.

How to Stop Worrying and Start Living by Dale Carnegie.
I can't tell people enough that this is probably one of the greatest books ever written. It's simple, to the point and helps people tremendously. I bought this for a dear friend who was stressing a little, because it helped me out so many times when I was worried about things. This book is a lifesaver.

Life changing.
I have recommended this book to so many of my friends as the problem of worry is something that is plaguing the world today. There are people suffering from this worry disease everywhere all around us. This book has changed my thoughts and perspective about life. It's surprising that a book written decades ago is still relevant to us in the 21st century. Truly life changing book. Must read.

Worth every penny.
Weirdly I dropped my meds whilst reading book & told myself to get a grip. On reflection the meds where offered to me as was the sleeping tabs all bad stuff esp the sleeping tabs the devils own poison when you come to drop them.Yes the book is dated & has some religious quotes in there for good measure BUT it works, go to bed at night & read a new chapter It may have been written along time ago but why should that alter anything? Stress is stress, worry is worry, anxiety is anxiety. At the end of every chapter there are a few helpful lines on the chapter you’ve just read which I find as being quite helpful in carrying out/remembering what to do.A fine example of doing what it says on the tin a 10/10 self help book for me as long as you try to carry out doing what it advises to do.

This is the first and the last book I'm buying of this author.
I had finished reading 2/3rd of the book and to be honest I gained some valuable advice from it. Then suddenly the author turned to give religious advice. Why we shouldn't be atheists with the same old religious nagging "if religion is false, life is meaningless."I pity such narcissistic people who think the Universe cares to validate human existence. Also the author says turning to religion will cure your worries. I don't know maybe religion can serve as a placebo for many but if you force a mind to bow to an unproven hypothesis, you are extinguishing the flames of science.Overall, this is the first and the last book I'm reading of this author.
