From the Manufacturer Small compact hand saw with 6-inch fixed blade for fine cuts in a variety of materials (thin wood, plastics, and nonferrous metals). The teeth, which cut on both pull and push strokes, have the same profile on all three MINI-MINI2 models. The wood version utilizes proprietary Silky 4-RETSUME (Four Rows of Teeth) Technology. Teeth are set in such a way that there appears to be 4 rows of them. The "wood" and plastic versions have about 20 teeth per inch, the "metal" version - about 36 teeth per inch. In a field testing, the metal version cut through the barrel of a felt-tip marker in 8 strokes and left a smooth surface behind. Non-slip rubberized handle provides a sure and comfortable grip. Great for DIY and professional model makers. Comes in a blister pack. Yellow plastic blade cover is included. Made in Japan.

This thing is awesome
I work on a lot of prototypes for work and also a lot of projects around the house. I always had a hard time finding a saw that was small but wasn't a coping style of saw. Some of the pull saws were a bit too flimsy for my use and other hobby saws have a stiffening strip along the backside of the saw and prevented cutting through deeper sections (can't pass through the saw kerf). This thing is perfect. It is pretty rigid, sharp as hell, and easy to hold (like a kitchen knife). It has fine teeth so it makes clean cuts in wood and plastic no problem.

Not a Pokonono but blade is better.
Since SIlky cannot make Pokonocos after the designer retired. this is the next best thing. The Pokonoco blade was thinner and folded into the wood handle. I bought them to use and more to give away. I still have aone and an extra blade, but want to gift something like these fine saws. The Mini mini 2 is as close as it gets and might prove to be an even better saw, just not pocket portable.

Works great on plastic
Works great on plastic,, which is what I wanted it for. As others have said, the blade bends if you are not straight in your cuts, but the blade did not break, so it's fine.

Good for cutting light craft wood
Small lightweight handsaw was perfect to saw off the thin wood roof of my birdhouse. The instructions are all in Japanese so I couldn’t read them, but it works like any saw. The saw comes with a plastic case so it’s easy to hang on a peg board for easy access.

Small craft saw for soft wood - cuts well
What can i say, it works. It's a small craft saw for small projects.I don't see it in the description but would not recommend for hard wood. It's adequate for soft woods though and did a good job.
