I bought this to put on top of my new vanity, and it's perfect. It fits perfectly on top, and will be easy to wash if I get makeup on it. I was worried that the "green" wouldn't be the shade of turquoise that I wanted, but the color is perfect as well. It took me quite a while to find this product, in my searches. Products kept coming up that were textured, but I wanted something thin and flat like this. Something that makeup fallout wouldn't get all into the crevices, ya know? Easy to wipe clean on the daily, give a periodic rinse in the sink, and then be back in business. I definitely wouldn't use this for hot things on a countertop... it's much too thin for that. They do make silicone trivets and counter protectors for that purpose, but this isn't it.

Not only does it serve its purpose, but it makes my job 10X easier when setting up and breaking down my makeup kit!

The media could not be loaded.  A: I have been cooking on top of this exact mat on my brand new Bosch induction cooktop for 2 months now! You can cook on top of it to an 8 but not the 9! At my 9 setting it wrinkles and when left going for awhile, it starts smoking, which could potentially ruin the mat and your stovetop! If this happens remove the pot or pan and turn off the stove top. Let cool. Wipe with rag. Don’t use on that high of a setting again! It takes a while to heat to smoking. So as soon as you see the mat bow or distort in shape/wrinkle, turn it down and if you find a setting that it can cook flat/undistorted, that is your new high heat! ❤️My high heat is an 8! My stove top only goes to a 9 so that is almost full power!7.6 is extremely safe on mine! And is plenty of power! The only time I have cooked directly on the cooktop itself was when I was frying with hot oil. (I don’t do it often) but think I will invest in a plug-in fryer so that I never have to cook without this silicone mat! I love it!Keeps my induction top looking brand new!No scratches and makes clean up a breeze!!!!You could buy two and cut them to size over the heat zones, but I love just keeping it the full size and sliding it to where I need it!Highly recommend!!!DO NOT USE ON FLAT TOP ELECTRIC RANGES!!! It will burn!!!!Induction range only!!!ALWAYS, ALWAYS, Test carefully at first to see which heat setting of your true induction cooktop the mat can handle!!!! Start at medium heat and slowly turn it up a notch at a time with a pot of water, when it starts to wrinkle the mat, turn it down a half notch until it can cook without wrinkling!

The Silicone Matt seems to be of great quality and I think it was a fair price. I will keep it for a potential future need.I originally purchased it to place under my wood cutting board (weighs about 20 pounds) to keep it from sliding/spinning on the granite counter top but it did not work. Was quite disappointed, bought some of that cheap waffled rubber like drawer liner and it works great.

I got these to heat press hats and shirts. Game changer from the thin Teflon sheets. These mats are big enough that I cut one into quarters so I have 4 sheets for hat pressing and the other in half for shirt pressing so these will last me forever. Handles heat perfect. A must have for heat pressing.

The thickness of this mat is superb. Almost does the job for removing an item from a hot oven. (doubling it up would be fine if you don't have a conventional silicone hot pot holder) Color is steadfast, washing is quick, non-slip is spot on.

It's still slips and everything sticks to it so it's not worth the money

It will get dirty in two seconds and you cannot get the dirt out no matter how much you wash it will drive you crazy
