Book is very helpful. But I need one suggestion. Do you guys think the calculations on the last paragraph are correct? Don't you think thr under line 1,000,000 option pool should be 500,000 in this example.

Clear explanations on important startup employee stock options, tax implications and other considerations. I found it very helpful and informative.

When I first read the title, I grunted. But I knew that stock options is an important topic for startups, and I started reading. It explains the concept of stock options in standard English. Good to have read it.

It’s a vey high level guide that focuses on private companies and startups. It’s a good, light intro to equity compensation

I was looking for a concise source of information on startup valuation and angel/venture investing to develop a comprehensive understanding of the process. I ordered this book together with all the other books in the series to make sure that I am armed with the necessary concepts, facts, tools and insights before I sit down with any investor. Now having read all the books, I am extremely happy with the purchase. While one can find most of this information on the web, having a structured repository of the knowledge through this book set was invaluable and really helpful.
