This has just arrived and despite being advertised as pure silk it is indeed satin. The inside (the part in contact with your hair at night) is rough and will definitely cause breakage and knitting. Very disappointed. A complete waste of money.

This bonnet does not feel like silk. It feels and looks more like satin. And it arrived in a plastic bag.I have a Lilysilk pillowcase and eye mask and both feels and looks like silk and both arrived in their individual Lilysilk boxes.I could tell the difference in the bonnet. Therefore I’ve had to return it. It’s not worth the price I paid.

This is a waste of money!! Do not buy. It is such a cheap material! Not worth the money at all. SCAM

This is quite expensive for the quality of the fabric. I did not test to check if it is pure silk, but even if it is, the fabric is not the quality I was expecting.

My hair has a lot of split ends and breakage and someone suggested trying a silk cap to minimise this. I've worn this cap every night for the last 6 or so weeks and, to be honest, I wasn't expecting to see any difference. I haven't noticed any improvement in the split end / breakage situation (although that may take longer to see results than I've allowed), but I have found that my hair is noticeably less greasy so I do not need to wash it as often or rely on dry shampoo so much.The cap itself is very comfortable & stays on pretty well (considering I'm a restless sleeper), although I do pull it down when I wake in the night. I have recommended these caps to my friends and have bought a one for an Xmas gift.

Not suitable for my needs

I bought one of these a few weeks ago, and have already noticed a difference in the condition of my hair. Before, I would have to spend a while de-tangling my hair in the mornings, even though I was braiding it for sleep. However, sleeping with this on leaves my hair soft and relatively tangle-free. It also keeps my hair off my neck and away from my face, which is very helpful for keeping my nightly skincare on my skin and not in my hair!Would definitely recommend.

Wasnt sure if a silk turban would really work for my frizzy locks but it really does for me. It does seem to lock in the moisture and avoid the hair being depleted of moisture overnight. I now have to wash my hair less. Very surprised what a difference it did make and was a bit cynical but wanted to try. Glad I did!
