Schick Xtreme 3 Sensitive Skin Razors - Flexible Blades with Aloe Fights Razor Burn , 20 Count (Pack of 1)

Been using this product for several years from a local department store but they only sell a 4 pack. Purchased this one and saved so much money, not only on the product but on the gas back and forth to the store.

I first bought some of these razors in Amsterdam because I forgot to take any on my trip. WOW! Jackpot. These are incredibly better than my subscription razors: sharper, longer lasting, and more comfortable. I have cancelled that subscription for these new ones.What a propitious turn of events caused by my lack of memory and packing technique! It seems that even a blind pig finds an occasional acorn.

I read some reviews that critqued these razors in terms of life span. I know that I do not have a heavy beard at all (though a one-time partner once said it was like sandpaper), but I have been using the first razor for about 2 weeks and it is still working fine. Perhaps someone with a heavy beard might be on the 2nd or 3rd razor by now.The handle/construction of the unit is much better and heavier than the standard Bic one-time-use products. I was not paying careful attention when I bought this product. I thought is was a single handle with a bunch of replacement blades. It was a bunch of disposibles with no replacement heads possible. Aside from being a bit concerned about adding to plastic to the environment, I am very pleased with these razors.

Pack will last me several years, use 1 razor for several months.

I purposely did not shave this morning, with the intent to shave when the Schick Xtreme 3 package arrived. When the package arrived, just recently, I opened the package and shaved. I use Cocoa Butter skin lotion applied with a shaving brush, rinsed in warm water and had a perfectly fine shave. I have read some of the reviews and wonder what other people are using. When I have used soap, I find the soap has a tendency to coagulate between the blades. Whereas Cocoa Butter skin lotion rinses off of the blades when placed under the (kitchen faucet, warm water full blast). I rinse the blade twice during shaving then a final rinse after I am done. (Why the kitchen sink? The water flow from the kitchen faucet is more powerful). Don't blame the razor if you are not using a product which does not rinse well and don't use the bathroom faucet if you have access to a kitchen faucet.By far, this is the best deal I have found on Amazon.
