Lame story line, too disconnected and terrible editing!
I’ve reas all the books up to this one and wondered a time or two before about whether Rain has an editor that check for typos and story consistency. This book convinced me that he doesn’t. I read for entertainment, but,I’m not entertained when in the same paragraph he contradicts himself! When he says ‘late model car’ and then says that the car is so old the person didn’t have a key fob, but a regular key. Oh wait, that was in the attached teaser story from the kindle version. Guess I won’t be buying I to read the rest. In a This book, the typos were everywhere and multiple times there were story inconsistencies like the one above - she could read family member’s minds / she couldn’t. Other things to that at the moment I’ve gratefully forgotten, as they were jarring enough at the time that they took me out of enjoying the story, such as it is. Not the best storytelling I’ve read, for sure, but my regular authors don’t have anything new out right now and I was hoping. Oh well. I won’t be buying the incredible number of sequels. I’m outta here!

From the darkest to the brightest
Samantha Moon is the vampire I'd want to be. She strong, brilliant, sarcastic, a little nuts, loving and loved. This installment of the A Vampire For Hire series brought Samantha's supernatural exposure to both the darkest and brightest ends of the sci-fi spectrum. She is hired by the devil, dances with the sun, and brings along her selfish boyfriend, psychic friend and otherworldly children for the ride. I loved it.

Children
This story is more about Samantha’s kids. Anthony is kidnapped for is powerful blood. Her daughter and friend use their psychic gifts to track. Anthony’s inner fire helps him save himself. The kidnappers fate is interesting to read about. The devil makes several appearances. Now Anthony’s dad is going to be a problem

Oh, what a devil !!
Each of J.R. Rain's books about the character, Samantha Moon, are so exceptional and very riveting. Samantha Moon is strong and never gives up.This time, Samantha, meets the devil and what a devil, he is. J.R. Rain gives us readers so much excitement, mystery and suspense in this story. He takes us down a road of intrigue and with each mile we go, we crave more of J.R. Rain's fantastic storytelling. I highly recommend this great book, I know you will enjoy it !!

Very Disappointing
I bought all of this series but the last two were a disappointment .Too much about God and the devil .This series was so good because it had different looks at vampires werewolves demons etc. But the last two books I could not hardly stand to hear anymore . I buy the audio. And I guess I’m just out my money because I was really disappointed in the last two.

Audiobooks
I'm enjoying listening to the series but since I hate reading. I get to bored and fall asleep fast. I much rather put my headphones on and get things done. When are the rest of your books going to be on audible? I have this series already but the time travel trilogy is missing the 2nd two book and adventures through Europe.

Read it in one big gulp!
Samantha Moon is one of my favorite characters and this new book in the series is one of the most fascinating. If you have not read any of J. R. Rains Vampire for Hire books start from the first book and read in order. You will be turning the pages at light speed. Already craving next book in this series.

Good one
This book was well pace and thrilling throughout, unlike book 11. The plot in 12 flowed well and was clear to read and exciting. J. R. at his best.

Weird and wonderful
I've read all the Sam Moon books and have to say, I think that they are getting better and better. I love how the author is evolving the characters and the story development is top notch. Really looking forward to the next one.
