Harvest Lane Honey WWBUL-101 Deep Brood Box, Unassembled

Edited review:Dropping from four stars to two stars, after assembly, I realize there is definitely some quality assurance issues going on here.One box had finger joints so bad off, that the boards actually split in half while I lined them up and tapped them in. I'm okay with a little chisel clean up, but these were beyond proud or tight fitting.Another set had a board that was almost a quarter of an inch short. So there is now a horizontal gap that bees are able to go in/out of, making that box unstackable.Of the five sets, two were below expectations, one was okay, and two were good. The okay one being questionable due to knots on the fingers.Original review:Bought 5 of them. As some have already said the finger joints are a bit hit or miss. I had some that went together easily with small gaps, and others that needed a little bit of a shave to fit.One box had a considerable number of knots, however the others were mostly knot free.For the price, I'm happy.

The media could not be loaded.  If I could give zero stars, I would. These boxes can only be described as trash. They did not fit together well at all. There are gaps, the wood is very low quality and when I finally got them together they aren't squared! If I get one side flush, the other side is off by nearly six inches. Looks like I bought some rather expensive planters!

They need to go back to high school wood shop class. Of all the brood boxes I've ordered over almost the last decade, this is the first time the joints didn't line up. Pretty bad, don't waste your time or money.

Cheap! Had cracks in the wood and I had To cut and chip wood to make it go together. I wouldn’t buy this product again.

there are splits and a lot of knotsin this wood, after filling the cracks I put on my hive and the front and back had big spaces big enough for bees (lots of yellow jackets) going in and out. Plan on doing a lot of carpentry and adjustments if buying this hive

This was a good bee box for the price. The wood was good quality but I just wish the joints were locking joints rather that just tight. It does the trick and my frames fit in it well.
