Harry Potter: A Hogwarts Christmas Pop-Up (Advent Calendar)

I loved this calendar from when I had it 3 years ago but my nephews accidentally tore it up so I had to buy another one. So I know I love this and it's reusable so you can continue to use it for years to come. So that's what's great. And it has 1 through 25 so it's a true Advent calendar in my opinion

My wife is a huge Harry Potter fan. This book has ornaments based on objects from the movies (based on the books of course). Luna's glasses, the goblet of fire, etc. I won't spoil it! They are good quality for a paper tree it's that strong card quality with either a glossed or a matte finish. Not a toy but deffinetly fun!During a shopping date at Costco I saw her slow down and smile when she saw this in the book isle. I knew what I was going to get her that year! It was my first Christmas with her as a married couple so you can imagine my dismay when one of the ornaments was missing. On a mission back to Costco to exchange it.....I ended up returning it and finding there were no more left on the floor. My first gift to her was gone! She was sympathetic but I was disappointed in myself.Fast forward to the present, self-disappointment still strong, I finally find it on Amazon!!!! All ornaments and commemorative booklet inside and intact! Delivery is a toss up sometimes and the box was a bit damaged but the book arrived unscathed! It was good to see my wife smile when I took it out of the box. Thank you Amazon. My honor has been restored!!!

I love advent calendars and have many of them. I expected this to be cute but it far exceeded my expectations. The ornaments are a thicker material that should be easy to reuse for many years. The pop up tree is gorgeous, as is the artwork of the great hall. It also comes with a book that explains the ornaments and parts of the movies that correlate to each. This is perfect for any harry potter fan. I would buy this again, hands down best purchase for the holidays.

Ordered this for my neice and she loved it. I didn't see it but glad she liked it.

I originally bought this for my newly HP-obsessed six year old, but after opening it and seeing the quality, I decided to wait until she's a bit older. Right now it's a "looking only" thing that I keep out of reach. It's absolutely beautiful, intricate, and so interesting that we will be able to use for years to come. The doors that open are very thick cardboard that close securely after they're opened, so you will be able to put the ornaments back in their doors and use it again. The book is hidden under the first of two larger doors. The second larger door is to be opened on the 25th and I'm super excited to see what's underneath! The book is beautiful with illustrations as well as stills from the films. The second half of the book lists all 25 ornaments in order. Seriously impressed at the value and quality of this!

The actual pop-up book itself is one pop-up of a giant Christmas tree in the great hall. It is an advent calendar with ornaments in little boxes on the floor of the book. The Christmas tree is very well done. I have not opened any of the boxes to see the ornaments as I’ll wait until December. If they are of the same quality as the tree they will be very nice. I’ll update again in December.There is a door to open on the top right of the book that holds a star for a tree topper and there is a door on the top left that holds the little book. It’s a very cute advent calendar!It’s December and I’ve opened up four of the ornaments. I’m in love with this book. The ornaments are crazy cute and pretty sturdy. They are a glossy cardboard or card stock.Spoiler Alert! Do not read on if you don’t want to know what the first four ornaments are ....Ok so far the ornaments have melted my heart. I got this as a gift for my mother to enjoy through December. She is loving this and looks forward to putting a new ornament on the tree every morning. She loves the little book it comes with that tells you about the ornament
