Fantastic Street Fighter Product
I don't think there has ever been another video game that has ever even approached Street Fighter in its artistic rendering of the various characters. Capcom and Udon have taken game art to a whole new level and this book is no exception. I always say that there are two things I look for in a Street Fighter book, the art and the fighting and this book delivers both in spades. I particularly enjoyed the way Udon renders some of the more massive characters including Sagat and Thunder Hawk. The story is paper thin but that is as expected. If Capcom ever put out a SF story that even approached the art it would be absolutely shocking. It always feels like there is a great SF story out there waiting to be told but Capcom just doesn't seem to be able to finish it off. As always Ryu is battling to manage his own Dark Hadou as he prepares to fight Akuma, the man who killed his master. Cammy is investigating her mysterious ties to M. Bison and Ken is... hey, where's Ken?There are two major problems with this book. Number one is the fragility of it. The pages are printed on a beautiful glossy, heavy stock paper but with the way the book is bound readers run a serious risk of breaking the spine. This is exactly what happened to me with volume 2 and I was being very careful. You need to be constantly vigilant about not opening the book too much and this somewhat takes away from the enjoyment. The second issue is a biggie. There is literally no conclusion to the story and my understanding is that volume 4 is not a continuation of the story. Since this book was published over a year ago it seems as if maybe there is no conclusion coming to the United States. It reminds me of the SF Alpha movie that seemed to be leading up to a titanic battle between Ryu and Akuma only to deliver... nothing. There are several different Street Fighter series out there but so far this is by far the best one I've seen. Still, not having a conclusion to the story is a pretty rough way to end things. I have to take away one star for the problems I listed above but I have to say that the art alone makes this book worth the price of admission.

Great for SF Fans, Interesting for Non-fans
If you are a SF fan, you will enjoy the artwork and stories in this third volume. This continues the battles and adventures of all the characters from the SF II and SF Alpha era and merges them. SF Alpha is a precursor to the SF II. It is a quick read with excellent artwork and an interesting story, and although there are some small parts of the story that are boring for a few characters, most of the story and battles are worthwhile. Do a search to find sample pages of what the artwork looks like. The book is in digest size, which is smaller than the comic book sizes. There is also an Ultimate SF book available which collects the entire four volumes and shows them in larger-than-comic-book-size pages if you can find that version. I recommend this book to all fans of SF, and to any non-fans who know of SF but have never tried to learn the backstories.

Great graphic novel!
Just like the first 2 of the series, more detailed background stories to your favorite Street Fighter characters. A really well thought out storyline that has mysteries and draws interest. Even has quotes from Bruce Lee, "Be water, my friend!" I recommend this book and the whole series as it is one of the best looking graphic novels with a great storyline that puts all the true Street Fighter game stories intertwined into one main storyline, "Whos the greatest Street Fighter of them all?!"

Finally avaliable.
This volume was widely unavailable for years. A short print run made this one very hard to come by. But Udon have now reprinted it and we can all get the full story. This one continues with great story telling and some of my favorite art work. This volume really helps you understand the current version of Sagat and fills in more details about the history of Akuma and Ryu. I really enjoyed it.

Street Fighter Vol. 3: Fighter's Destiny (Udon)
The Street Fighter series by UDON is KICK-@$$ !!!! I would buy these series anyday because the TPB (Trade PaperBack) books are brilliantly designed with amazing art and great SF2 storyline. It really fills in the gaps of what was missing from the videogames. A+A+A++A+A+A+A++A+A+A+A+ to this series!!!!!

As good as volume 2!
This is still keeping up with the good art and story from volume 2, worth the money if you pay $12 dollars of less.

It's getting real
Fighter's Destiny is the darkest volume so far with some shocking twists and turns, it's notably shorter than the epic 2nd issue but keeps the story flowing well, leaving you wanting more.A worthy addition to the series

Poor construction
I'm assuming it's just the one I received but it was falling apart as I opened it. Looked the glue job didn't take so cover came off and pages started falling out.
