For more than filtering coffee!
I use these for cleaning glass and windows. They are also excellent for placing on top of yogurt in a container; the filter will absorb the extra liquid, resulting in a thicker yogurt. Filters also make good snack holders or sandwich wrappers. Of all the things I've used these for, none has been filtering coffee!

Great filter for frying oil to use again
These work fine for filtering oil from a deep fryer to eliminate the crud that accumulates after frying breaded shrimp or similar foods that shed some of their outer coating. I use a Fry Daddy deep fryer frequently for shrimp and similar breaded fish products and do not want to toss the oil after just one use as long as it is still good. [Hint: Dip a finger into the cool old oil and taste. If it has a "coppery" taste throw it away -- too much oxidation. If it does not taste like you sucked on a copper penny, the oil is still good.]After filtering there is absolutely no residue in the salvaged oil. Depending on what you fried the oil in may have a taste (like if you chose chicken livers!) but in most cases it will be good to go again. Just make sure there is no copper taste in the cold oil before your heat it up!I normally use peanut oil as a frying medium since is has about the highest smoke point of the common oils. You can Google "oil smoke points" and get an idea of the temperatures which are safe and will not result in a "burned" flavor if the temperature is too high. Never go above 425 degrees Fahrenheit on any oil to avoid that. Olive and similar oils need a much lower temperature to avoid a flavor degradation. ISorry this is not a coffee filter review, but thought some people would like to know that these filters have other uses.

It's a coffee filter After All
BUT! Let me tell you a story. We, my wife and I, ordered these filters many years ago. Then, due to expediency, my WIFE went out and bought another brand. Although we drink a lot of coffee, the filters she bought lasted a long time, but we're very hard to separate one from another. Talk about a constant reminder every day. Recently we ran low on the OTHER FILTERS so I ordered the ROCKLINE filters again. Two things happened. One is I got my way (doesn't happen often) and the other is I'm not struggling to separate one filter from another. Another plus is the ROCKLINE brand is a very good coffee filter. Oh, and yes, and even though I drink more coffee than I should, I can finally sleep well once again. Thank you, ROCKLINE.

best yet
They fit our Mr. Coffee just fine and (my favorite thing) they come out of the wrapper one at a time instead of being all stuck together like every other brand we've tried. Would buy again.

Good Value, Large Quantity
Once again, I failed to read the product description carefully and ordered a vast quantity of something that will take me seven lifetimes to use. The product itself is excellent, however. The paper filter holds the grounds well, with no leakage into the coffee pot or while being whooshed across the kitchen to the sink or trash. The paper does not affect the taste of the coffee and has a pleasant feel. Price is right, especially if you make multiple pots of coffee every day or have plenty of storage for a quantity of filters that lasts almost two years, at one pot a day. The product description clearly says that you are getting 700 filters, but my brain did not process that number for some reason...or else I did not do the math. Fortunately the filters come in a sturdy plastic wrap and should not deteriorate. Ideal for office use!

Very good quality and fits the basket of my 12 cup machine
I like these filters a lot. Filter paper for coffee machines is hard to come by in my country. I had got four packs of paper along with a kitchen aid, basket type, 12 cup coffee machine from Germany. Ran out of those four packs and had been looking for filter paper and came across these. The paper fits perfectly to the basket. It’s thinner than usual filter paper but is as strong as any other and does the job very well. The quality is top class. This was also the cheapest option (came to Rs. 4.14 per unit) though the order quantity of 700 units means one has to shell out a decent sum in one go. I guess I am not going to be worrying about running out of filter paper for a year and a half at least! Thanks to the seller for making this available here.
