light but keeps you warm and comfortable
Took two wears before I felt the material was soft on my sensitive skin. It's light but keeps you very warm. I wore it with just a jacket in 40 degree weather and was comfortable. Purchased a Medium size (I'm 5'5 and currently 141 lbs) and it fits great.

I love it. A new favorite.
This top fit perfectly and gave me just the warmth I wanted, without additional bulk. I wear it over a thin liner shirt, but you wouldnt have to. It helps though, in case the day warms up I might be too hot with this. I love the zipper in the front to be able to zip up for warmth or open for a little cooling. And the two tone color. It washed well. I'm glad I bought it and I hope it lasts a long time. (p.s. I also order the pants but they didnt fit as well and unfortunately I had to return)

Great shirt - double check your size!
I love this shirt - it's the second I've purchased. I got the first in ~2019 and it had a great run but the sleeves began to come apart and it was time to replace it. Nice, soft merino, a true 250g shirt, and a deep black color that doesn't fade. It's great for layering. Since it's merino, it doesn't ever smell, and I only wash about once every 5-7 wears.Just a fair warning if you are like me and trying to replace another- their sizing has changed a bit. These used to run a bit small but now I would say they are very true to size.

Tight weave, warm base layer
I was looking for a thin but warm wool base layer - this Marisol half zip is it! I bought 4 for a trip to Switzerland this winter.

Seller, take a moment to look for holes before sending.
I immediately noticed a hole the size of my fingertip. Right in front. This is the first thing I saw when I took it out of the box. Before even unfolding it.I happen to know how to patch holes. Not everyone will. I was very unhappy about having to immediately patch a brand new item. The only reason I didn't send it back is I hate the return process more. I can sill see the patch because the hole was so big.It is extremely soft, comfortable, temperature regulating and agreat fit. That's why it still gets a 4/5. I really like the grey color too.

Excellent quality but didn’t fit
This is gorgeous quality. I really wanted it to work but it was too tight under the arms for me.

That it us comfortable and warm
I love the fit it has a slimming look. It is a perfect weight for winter, warm without being too warm, stays clean and fresh smelling for a very long time so doesn’t need washing much. I get a lot of compliments on the style. Merino wool is very soft next to the skin. I love it and have several in different colorsIt can pill a bit but a pill comb quickly removes the pills.

Highly recommend and the fit is very flattering.
I love Merino wool for it's softness and non-itch qualities. With this baselayer top being 100% Merino wool I'm happy. And, the fit is perfect and very flattering. I always wear a small and this small was true to size. With this top being light weight I will probably use it under other shirts on cold days and by itself on warmer days. I did a lot of shopping for a wool baselayer top before choosing this one so, I know that it is a good deal for the money. I have some Icebreaker wool tops that cost a whole lot more and don't fit near as nicely as this one. The quality is superb. Extremely satisfiedwith my purchase. I also bought the Heavyweight top and I love it even more.

Its warm! Merino is the Best!
It is high quality with a tight knit and thick enough to keep very warm as a top in autumn or base layer in heavy winter. I love merino wool! It doesn't keep odour, can wear 3 times before washing for everyday wear, less if sweating. Merino is the best for warmth without a doubt!

Warm
Ordered a size larger than normal so it can be used as a base layer or on top of a base layer. Works well in either case. Neutral gray so goes with many different options.

Merino wool is expensive but worth every dollar.
I have been a merino wool user for over 25 years and I still have some of the long johns and sweaters. Yes, they are Beaton up with holes but under a newer sweater the neck area looks good. Expensive but worth every dollar. Take care of them and merino will keep you warm and dry.

True to size and soft
I usually wear US size 4 (small) top, and this fits me well. It’s snug but not too tight. The merino wool is soft and comfortable when I tried it on. The colors of the top are lovely. Hope that it will keep me warm when I visit Denmark and Norway.

Warm and Toastie
I had a Patagonia base layer for years that I loved so was unsure about switching brands. As soon as I put it on I felt the warmth. It’s not scratchy like some wool garments. Light and compact for traveling. Purchased size small.
