A good version of the classic
This was a pretty good version of the book.Likes:-The mama duck DOES in fact love the ugly duckling and does not kick him out, as in the original version-Pretty visuals-Variety of animals for the kids: Involvement of different (judgmental) animals on the farm-Modern and more kid friendly tale of this classicCriticisms:-I wish the Ugly duckling and his old duck mama and siblings had a moment of reunion (besides just a glance across the pond) at the end. Kinda sadOverall, cute book!

Very Poor quality
Product not as advertised. Like new or brand new turned out to be a very used book. Very disappointed. Was for a shower gift and had no time to replace.

Not worth the buy
The battery area was totally rusted when I opened to install new battery. It is just like a normal book. using it like any other normal book. Looked like a very old stock.
