Quiet One Lifegard Fountain Pump, 991-Gallon Per Hour

I gave this product five stars because it did what it was supposed to do at half the cost of electricity that most other pumps with the same gph put out.I did do a small modification to the pump - by putting a few beads of silicone around the unit and letting it dry and set before putting it on top of the glass in my sump, I was able to completely silence any vibrations coming off of the pump. Remember that next time you are putting a pump on glass. I don't think this came with suction cups, so I simply came up with my own solution of how to dampen the vibrations and it worked.I would recommend this product for someone that is looking for an affordable pump and who doesn't mind putting a little silicone on it to dampen vibrations. Also, this is a great product if you are concerned with the cost of the electricity because it functions at about half of what mag drive pumps use.

I have used MANY different pumps.This is by far the most well engineered, the quietest, and the closest to not blatantly lying about GPH output.I found it to significantly outperform it's more expensive peers in terms or output, durability, and noise control.

Pros - Great price, dependable AND powerful and relatively quiet (after I placed it in my sump on foam sponge pad. Still not silent but barely audible above trickling sound of adjacent tank filter.)Con? None

It does the job it was alleged to and so far good. Good flow volume for the filter it is used in.

Used submerged with pond filter. Worked great right of of box, replaced and older model after 5 years. Long power cord!

Makes a very powerful spitter pump for my pond!
