Solid replacement assembly but could use a bit of improvement
This is a solid replacement for pneumatic tires if the appropriate size. I used one of these to replace a very old pneumatic tire with a slow leak. It can carry a reasonable load and offers a grease fitting. The grease fitting allows the grease to fill the cavity between the bearings and the axle shaft so it will use quite a bit of grease upon installation. I have used this on my wheelbarrow to carry very heavy loads of stone and wood with very good results. The rebound after going over bumps is not the same as the pneumatic tire so it seems wrong at first but you can get past this as I did. It is a small price to pay for not having to fix leaks again. I rated this 4 stars instead of five for a few small things. Both bearings should have grease fittings to inject grease into the bearings on both sides. The opposite side from the one that has the grease fitting does not get enough pressure to completely fill it with grease. Secondly, it does not require pressure to get it on the axle but if you do not have stops to keep it from moving laterally on the axle it will slide around easily, possible causing you to tip a wheelbarrow.

Finally!!! flat proof tire for my old wheelbarrow
i have an old wheel barrow from the 1990s that i bought at Home Depot. the old 4.00/4.08-6" tire on it was going flat again. i was sick of repairing it so i went looking for a flat proof replacement. i could not find one in stock with a 6" diameter wheel, 6" centered hub and 5/8" axle. it looked like i had the space to clear the wheelbarrow and front tipping point for the 8" diameter wheel so i took a chance. it fit!!!! no more flats. very happy!

Seems good, but may be missing rubber/plastic hub dust covers
I haven't tried these yet, but they seem to be missing some of the rubber or plastic hub dust covers. Otherwise they look great. I ordered two of the ribbed tread 16 inch tires on wheels with 6 in hubs. One of the tires had one of these black plastic covers on one side only. The second tire/wheel had none on either side. Should there be one of these covers on both sides of the hubs when received as new?

Great Tire/wheel
I give 5 stars. However, going over things like 2" x 4" or a driveway apron or just small objects, it still works great, but a little different from a well inflated tire. I'l get used to it. No more flats or the threat of one is great to know. It mounted up fine on a wheel barrow that is about 45 years old. It does require a lot of grease to fill the chamber. I chose this rounded tire over the flatter (square type) tire because of going around corners, like fence posts, bushes, trees, over things that require you to turn the wheel barrow, it's just easier to turn with this tire. Great tire/wheel.

Flat free is flat free!
Got this wheel that I didn’t realize was the wrong size little too big for my wheel barrow but I was still able to install and use it after modifying my wheel barrow. I had a huge screw go into it while carrying a load of rocks. No flat so no problem. I haven’t noticed any issues with this wheel yet so I’m happy.

Great replacement tire
This wheel is fantastic and it's well-made. Each time I wanted to use my old wheelbarrow before, I had to pull out the air pump. I actually avoided using the wheelbarrow because of this. After a small investment purchasing this wheel, now I use my wheelbarrow a lot more often. True, the feel of the wheelbarrow is more solid using this versus an air tire. However, I don't think it's a big deal unless you have a really bumpy yard. I only notice it with heavy loads. Make sure you carefully measure the axle size of your wheelbarrow and the wheel width before ordering this.
