This is good veneer. My only gripe is that normally the veneer I use is just wood, nothing else. This veneer has some sort of material attached to one side. I initially thought I had been mistakenly sent some pre glued iron on veneer, but it showed no inclination to stick down when ironed. I think it's some sort of material to stop the veneer splitting, which is quite a common problem with normal veneer. I'm not sure how it will effect the long term quality of the job, coming unglued, etc., and so far I haven't had to prepare it for jointing in order to cover a larger area. Maybe this strengthening material will get in the way, I don't know. So far I'm happy, but in the future I'd probably try to get the veneer I'm used to using. I know that works exactly as expected.
