CORSAIR Premium Individually Sleeved PSU Cables Pro Kit – Blue, 2 Yr Warranty, for Corsair PSUs

There are a few reviewers for these cables that apparently could not get them to work. I have a Corsair AX1600i PSU. These cables work great for Type 4 PSU's. Perhaps those reviewers didn't notice that when a cable should be split for their particular PSU, MOBO, or GPU, it could be. They are snapped together, so you have to look closely. Also, I have a giant case, a Cooler Master Cosmos C700P. I didn't use the cables included with the PSU. I only used the cables from the Corsair Pro Kit. Everything I needed was included, and all of them were easily long enough, and worked like a champ. They even allowed convoluted routing due to cable management constraints. These are not extensions. They are cables, and are all you need. Of course, they don't work with every PSU Corsair has. But, they do have a support page, and a number listed above, which will identify the compatible models. The only con I would mention is, I wish they had more than one comb per cable - three at least. I got the red set. They are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Where to start... these cables are really overpriced first off. The MB connector also didn’t fit in my RM850, I ended up having to get a new PSU. It has 1x 18 pin and a 10pin connector on the PSU side, all for a 24pin MB connector. Secondly, the white cables have turned pink, the entire cable! This was after 6 months of being inside a case. I pulled some of the spare cables out of the original box, and they look good. I’m not sure how all the individual sleeves turned pink inside a case, but it looks awful now! So to recap, the cables are overpriced, didn’t fit my original Corsair PSU, and now they are all pinkish colored. Luckily the new white Corsair PSU came with white cables, although they are not individually sleeved, atleast they are white. I could’ve saved myself the money and not bought these cables, and had a better look.

Cables are good quality. However, the motherboard power cable would not connect to my ax1200i power supply due to the cable needing to be split. All other cables connected fine.

The connector for the most important cable in this set (the large motherboard power cable) is INCOMPATIBLE with their own HX 1200i power supply! Are you kidding? Why are there a 10 pin connector AND an 18 pin connector at the other end of the cable? I can't use either in the power supply, rendering this most important cable USELESS.

Bought a Corsair RMI 1000WT PSU many years ago, New rig means new cables in white. These are perfect with extra combs in white. They will give a highly professional look to my new case and MB with RBG lighting. Pros: great looking not too expensive. Please check to make sure they will work with latest generation PSU. Cons: only 1 black comb per cable. So I bought extra combs from Amazon. Issue: the 24 and 8-6 pin cables are 3.5 mm size then SATA/Molex cables are 2.5 so you might have to buy two sizes. Also they have in line capacitors on the ATX 24 pin and ESP12v/PCIe power cables.

I love corsair products. I highly recommend them to all my customers. I'm not paid or sponsored by corsair to say these things. Some things have a premium price when it comes to corsair but the products are quality made. I've never had anything bad from corsair and I havent had any returns on corsair items I've sold personally. These cables are well made and look nice in your machine. They provide clean power and help reduce ripple. They are extremely well made and durable.

Listen Corsair products have always done me Good. These cables are sleek, visually pleasing, and easy to manage. I did like the quantity and variety of cables offered as well.

Hättr ich gewusste das Corsair dort irgendwelche Widerstände einbaut welche überhaupt keinen Sinn haben und sämtliche Kabel verunstalten, hätte ich es nicht gekauft. Wurde auch nirgends erwähnt und auf den Fotos wurde der Pfusch gekonnt versteckt. Bei den Pcie 8 Pin kabeln sieht es genauso aus... Das 24 Pin kabel passt übrigens auch nicht beim HX850i. Die Kabelkämme hab ich auch ersetzt, da die mitgelieferten absolut unbrauchbar und hässlich sind. Bin von Corsair normalerweise nur gutes in Top Qualität gewohnt, aber hier kam die erste große Enttäuschung.

You will be surprised at the size and weight of the box. These things are heavy and the box is quite large. Quality is very good indeed, although I wish that they would supply one more PCIe cable - there are two single terminated cables and two double. But some systems now require three single, albeit you can make do with one single and one double. Personally I bought an addition single but that added a lot to the final cost.Anyway, these cables are a must in my opinion. They don't have those huge blocks of unbendable shrink wrap so you can easily bend them for much easier cabling. They suit most Corsair power supplies so you only need buy them once and can re-use them if you buy another Corsair power supply. Although these are expensive the cost is somewhat lost in the total cost of the PC.

I bought these to improve the look of my computer and hopefully make the cabling more manageable. It succeeded in the first but made cable management a lot harder.The main issue is the shared ground cables. They are joined with what feels like sleeved large Y splitters, this makes that area of the cable very thick, a lot thicker than the standard PSU cable and I struggled to get the back of the case on, something that wasn't an issue before.If you are just wanting aesthetics, use the extensions.

Bought them to go with my new build, they work perfectly with the HX1000 platinum psu I have and really transform the way the pc looks. The stock cables the PSU came with had transistors in them right at the end so they were difficult to shape. The graphics card 8+8 looked a particular mess as did the 24 pin motherboard.I added a set of third party combs as a finishing touch. Couldn't be happier.

Amazon's listing for this product and 'About this item' leaves out important information. These cables are Type 4 - so NOT compatible with my new HX Series.Yes, checking the Answers section now, I can see the Type 4 questions and answers, so it's my fault for not looking through everything on the page. But the part number or cable type should be stated in the listing.Before I realised the incompatibility when trying to fit the 24 pin ATX cable, I did look the cables over, and the quality and flexibility seemed good. Hence the four stars.Returning for a refund.
