A worthy crew member!
I have installed the autopilot for a couple of months now, on my sail boat. Works perfectly and communicates excellent with my Raymarine C95 display. To tell the truth, in the beginning I thought that the money I spent was a bit of a waste because the pilot had the same performance like my old 20 year old Autohelm pilot... Until I tested it (not intentionally - just happened) on really heavy weather sailing. The old pilot could keep up until 4B (15 knots) of wind and only on engine power. But this new fellow is really amazing!!! With a gale force of 40 knots winds (with gusts up to 58-60 knots) and it kept adapting and steering the vessel better than me. Even on sail power in difficult conditions works really great. Since then I also tested it with a spinnaker on and really works amazing. I'm really glad I got this!
