Fantastic dietary principles with LOADS of recipes for inspiration
I bought this book for my Nan who was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. She has lost so much weight already and narrowly missed looseing her foot, but that was just cutting sugar out of her diet. But now she needs a more long term solution and to be able to reverse diabetes. I've read them first 1/5th of this book which goes through the evidence of a low carb, no sugar and high fat diet for diabetics. Something which even most GP's are trying to catch up on. Low-fat being mostly crammed with sugar! A total no no for diabetics. This book has recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, sweet treats and desserts. It gives some great ideas for carb swaps and also some fab looking recipes that are all natural.

Recipes good, changeable..
Very good receipies, over 7 day week, tried several which were tasty, easy to do, well worth buying

Good introduction with some good recipes
Good introduction to using a lower carbohydrate way of eating as one of your tools to manage T2 diabetes and some good recipes. As with everything to do with diet and diabetes, you need to use a BG monitor to know what effect different foods and recipes have on your blood sugars - not everyone will react in the same way

Brilliant book
Thus is an excellent book, with loads of information on preventing and managing type 2 diabetes. There are some great recipes, I have tried several and use them regularly. Well worth buying, I highly recommend this book

Simple hearty recipes
Great book. Simple recipes with notLoads of ingredients. Feel good favourites like lasagna and curry which are delicious.This is a new venture for me and I found it gave sound advice. The lemon and blueberry muffins are also good!
