LITTLE GIANT Parts Kit for Poultry Fount

I needed a cap for filling the large chicken waterer for the chicken that lives at the barn I keep my horse at. The cap for the one there was lost several years ago so the fountain could only hold a small amount of water which defeated the purpose of the fountain. The cap that comes in this kit fits perfectly and I was able to fill the fountain all the way, when I took the cap off it filled the pan but did not overflow like it had previously done. Now I don't have to worry about the chicken who isn't mine running out of water. I haven't needed to use the seals but am keeping them on hand. Kept the ziplock bag it came in to put the cap back in so this one doesn't get lost. Would be great if they sold the caps separately.

When you have chickens and you have kids, things get lost or misplaced. It’s nice to have spares just incase something happens.

My aunt gave me her old waterer because the cap and o ring were gone. After not finding a replacement in store or anywhere I read reviews about other people's experience and they fit just perfect and it's operational again. Definitely oil before use. You saved me almost 70 bucks thank you.

Only received 3 gaskets, no cap. Which was not a big deal, because I only really needed the gaskets.Gaskets fit perfect and work fine.Not going to bother returning because I needed the gaskets right away, but if you're expecting a kit you might be disappointed.If caps get sent to me I'll add a star, but I'm not hopeful since I can't find where to message the seller.

These o-rings are exactly what was needed to seal the waterer. Easy to install and more sense to replace the o-rings instead of replacing the waterer.

It worked. I replaced the seal on our large poultry fount and it stopped leaking!!One day we realized that the water that usually lasted a week was gone in a day. It didn't take too much time to discover the mud and realize it was just slowly leaking out because the seal wasn't tight. I oiled the old gasket with olive oil and that helped for a few weeks, but didn't completely solve the problem. I replaced the old seal with this and it's back in service and holding water well. I will continue to oil this periodically to keep it in good shape.

I have 2 brands of similar waterers, one is round and one is octagonal. These rings fit them both.There is some advice on the bottom of the lid from one brand, saying to keep the Oring lubricated with vegetable oil.Once, one of my orings stretched out and wouldn't seal. I quit using it for a few months, then it seemed fine. This was before I started oiling them.
